When I look at the performance of both teams in the EPL, I felt Nottingham Forest should have had a much easier game with Ipswich. Not like the newly promoted side was going to give them an easy get by but, Nottingham Forest could have had it anyway but they didn’t. They had to win on penalties and that tells just how much this FA cup means to these teams that we would see as mediocre. That last penalty gave it up for Ipswich, what a weighty one it must have been for J. Taylor.

Nottingham Forest is in the top ranking of English Premier League and it will be shameful to lose against Ipswich Town, even getting through penalties should make them worry about the future games and prepare it well.
They were indeed lucky because they avoided the fate of unlucky Manchester United kicked by Fulham by penalties and Newcastle United which scored first then was owned by Brighton and Albion Hove.
Now in the Quarter-final, Nottingham Forest will face Brighton which is one of the hardest since teams aren't far from each others,

Today there was a match between Nottingham Forest vs Ipswich Town where Ipswich Town lost and got eliminated from FA Cup. Today's match was very competitive between both the teams. Neither team could score in the first half. But Ipswich Town went ahead with 1 goal on 53 minutes and Nottingham Forest equalized with 1 goal on 68 minutes. In the end, Nottingham Forest won on penalties. Nottm Forest did not do well according to past performances, their players should have put in a better effort.

Nottingham Forest qualified for the quarter finals with the win. Eight teams have been confirmed for the quarter finals. The quarter final match will be held on March 29.

It's a well deserved victory for Nottingham Forest, this is another boost to their momentum when they return to the EPL. Ipswich though they lost at penalty kicks I can say they were very clinical too with how they played against Nottingham Forest because I didn't expect that the game was going to reach extra time down to penalty kick due to the brilliant form of Nottingham Forest this season.

In the next match Nottingham Forest would be facing Brighton Albion another stubborn side as them in the competition, and I think it promises to be an interesting clash. I wonder who's gonna get all three points but it's looking like it's going to end in a draw most likely.

One of the requirements for a good season is a very good start and also a very good finish. Teams that usually start the season very well and end the season very poorly do not end up at a position that they deserve, or they should simply because they could not keep up with the top performance, they started the season with. What is happening to Nottingham Forest currently because they started the season so well and currently looks like player fatigue and exhaustion is catching up with them and as a team, they are beginning to lose focus on concentration for the remaining few weeks of the season ahead and in other competitions that they are in. This is where the coach comes in and where he can actually help them get back together because he has to remind them that they just have a few weeks left to make history.

Most people expected Nottingham forest to blow away Ipswich because of their recent run of form but to be sincere if you watched the match, Ipswich gave a very good performance and to some might even say they deserve to win but at the end they where knocked out of the tournament on penalties. It was a very interesting match to watch, a match with end to end attack and both team could have won it before going on penalties, Callum Hudson Odoi hit the bar with a beautiful curling effort, it could have been the winner Nottingham forest was searching for.

With 8 teams left to play and most big teams have already been knocked out of this tournament we might see an unexpected winner of the tournament this season, Quarter final will be played on the 29th of this month just like you said and  Manchester city will face Bournemouth, while Preston will take on Aston Villa, Brighton will face Nottingham forest then Fulham will face crystal palace. All top 6 premier league team have already been knocked out except for Manchester city maybe winning this tournament might still be a rescue for their bad season so far.

Normally as is stance now I think Manchester city still have a long way to go. Because is not quite sating that Manchester city would lift the FA Cup trophy this season. because just like as you mentioned Aston villa, Brighton and Nottingham forest are still in the game. and even though they are playing with Bournemouth in their next match which would going to be a very though one for them. However, I think their effort against Bournemouth would determine their stand in the FA Cup trophy this season.

Nottingham Forest  football won the match at the end of the match. Nottingham Forest  and Ipswich Town team did 1,1 goal in this match . Hirst was the person who did first goal of the match and he did this goal at 53 minutes of the match and after this we saw another goal by other team player, Yates did second goal of the match and now  he did this goal at 68 minutes. Nottingham Forest stats  was wonderful in this match and possession percentage of Nottingham Forest  team was 54 percent and passes of that team were 567 in this match. The shots of Nottingham Forest  team were 22 in this match.We saw penalties at the end of match because match was decided at penalties and Nottingham Forest  was winner in the end.

Football is difficult to predict game, we saw Arsenal losing to West Ham United in EPL that ended their hope of winning season title. In EPL, Nottingham currently is at number 3rd while Ipswich Town is third from the last yet Nottingham had to go through penalties to win the game.

In Quarter finals, Brighton will host Nottingham on Mar 29. Though Nottingham recently thrashed Brighton in EPL yet they must not take Brighton for granted. If Ipswich can take the game to penalties then Brighton can also surprise Nottingham since they are at number eight on EPL points table. May be it's time for Nottingham to wake up and improve there performance.

On paper it looks like this is going to be easy job for Manchester City, but I would like to see underdog winning this one, maybe  Nottingham Forest.
They have amazing season in Premier League, holding in third place, and I think they deserve to win some trophy this year.
