There is huge controversy in the FA Cup final, the officiating was very poor. The most obvious one was that Dean Henderson was not given a yellow card for hand ball foul (although I think it should be a red card). Their defense is equally trash, they are claiming that it wasn’t a goal scoring opportunity and that’s why the referee didn’t call the foul. Despicable.

Officiating in the Premier League this season has been generally bad. Manchester City has been at the benefiting end of most decisions, and the other teams have been the ones complaining. They had a penalty to score and some other chances, but they could not. They should quit complaining and accept the apology from the officials, as other teams have been doing all season.

It is a summary of how bad a season this has been for them.

That’s not a good attitude. It’s 100% a red card offense and the goalkeeper should have been sent off not given a pat on the back but since it’s against Manchester City the entire football world turns a blind eye to the rules of football

Dean Henderson like Crystal Palace didn’t just rob Manchester City of a trophy.

The first FA Cup trophy in Crystal Palace history! And moreover, it is their first trophy after 31 years! 

They really didn't deserve to be underestimated. I should admit that. I also didn't give them much chance against Manchester City. I thought Guardiola wouldn't fail in this trophy at least.

But it is a really poor season for him. Happens though, this is football...

Crystal Palace is always a difficult opponent for Manchester City to beat, but after Manchester City came from 2 goals down to beat Crystal Palace in the Premier League, I just believed the Emirates FA Cup final was just a walkover match for Manchester City without knowing that Crystal Palace would pull off a surprising win against Manchester City. After Manchester City failed to win either the Premier League title or the Carabao Cup, the Emirates FA Cup was the only trophy Manchester City could have used to compensate their fans for their awful performance this season, but they also failed to win the Emirates FA Cup trophy.

Indeed, is a very big congratulations to Crystal palace. Likewise me too that was also what I predicted it because I already knew that Manchester city can not afford to get a win against Crystal palace easily in the game. Because for quite sometimes now crystal palace have been playing pretty well in the premier league, more especially in their last game against Tottenham Hotspur, the pressure was really nice. However, that is why I was expecting a draw from both teams, but unfortunately Manchester city couldn't make it. What a great achievement for Crystal palace, first in history.

I agree with you, is not easy for the players and the coach of the side, a journey that I never thought would get this far since we all know how crazy this team use to be and now their mentality have changed for good. But coming to the Citizens, as of last season if this chance was given to them it will be a work over for City because the pressure they gave Palace yesterday would have been different and Pep and his boys would have snatched the trophy off Palace, we all know how City played last season and we can't say the Manchester City of last season and the one that played this very finals are the same but all the same congratulations to Crystal Palace and to Henderson who gave his 100% to stop every chances City had to get a goal, especially that penalty...it was a wonderful save.
Finishing in the champions league spot is not going to be a problem for the Citizens because that's all they need right now and they'll surely get it. The remaining two games might not be an easy one since they have been struggling against the smaller teams but I still believe that since they have their scoring machine Haaland in the starting 11 things might go their way. Bournemouth seem to be stubborn in the last 3 games even if they couldn't get all 3pt but they made sure their opponent don't find it easy and that's what will happen against City.

Last time City were trophyless under Guardiola was in the 2016\2017 season and then City finished 3rd at the end of the season, but now they are only 6th and maybe this season will be even worse if City don't qualify for the Champions League. It will be interesting to see if Guardiola will stay with City in that case, but it should be noted that now Guardiola did not blame referee who did not removing Henderson after his hand outside the penalty box and in that sitaution  Guardiola honestly admitted that the team that can't score the goal can not win and congratulated Crystal Palace.
Guardiola may not be the kindest coach, but he does not shift the blame on others and honestly admits defeats.

Crystal Palace can be congratulated not only on their first major trophy, but also on qualifying for the Europa League next season.
