While Plymouth pulled off impressive victories against brentford and Liverpool in the EFL cup it seems unlikely that they can be able to overcome Manchester City in the fifth round of the competition. City's squad depth,tactical superiority, and overall quality makes them overwhelming favourites. However Cup competitions are known for surprises and if Plymouth plays with discipline and determination they might at least put up a good fight.

Plymouth Argyle football team played very excellent and won the match against Brentford one sided because that team did 1 goal in this match and Brentford team could not do any goal in this match and and match was ended with result of 1-0 . Plymouth Argyle team also played excellent against Liverpool team and that was also one sided match because result was same as we  saw against Brentford team. Hardie was the person who did 1st goal of the match and match was ended with this result. Now we are expecting same kind of performance by Plymouth Argyle team because they will play against Man City team after 2 weeks and match could be one sided because performance of Plymouth Argyle team is wonderful.

If any team defeats Tottenham at this moment it will never be a surprise because Tottenham is not the team that we think they are this season, Tottenham started the season well but at this point Tottenham looks like a team that will end up in relegation position at the end of the season, I did not expect Tottenham to defeat Aston Villa before because Aston Villa is better than Tottenham, Aston Villa is having a better season than Tottenham because if you look at both teams performance it has shown that Aston Villa is better.

I don't think Tottenham fans should expect the team to win any trophy this season because their performance this season is worse than last season's performance, Tottenham has a good coach and good players but there are still players that need to be sold out from the team because some players are just enjoying Tottenham money without no doing anything, Tottenham is one of the best team that is facing injury crisis in Premier league every season.

Absolutely right. Aston Villa  football player excellent against Tottenham Hotspur football team and they did 2 goals in this match and Tottenham Hotspur all team could do only 1 goal in this match. Ramsey was the person who did goal at the start of match and he did goal at 1st minute of the match and after this goal, one more person did goal at 64 minutes of the match and now person was Rogers . He made match one sided because now opponent team looked in pressure because they had to made 3 goals in this match to win this match and that was difficult for them against Aston Villa  team because that team is not week and after this Tottenham Hotspur team players could not handle the pressure and did mistakes and could not win this match.

Aston Villa team performed quite well in this match today, but I had bet and my idea and guess was that Aston Villa will be able to win by a larger margin. However, they were much ahead in terms of attack, Aston Villa team made a total of 25 attacks in the whole match.
And Cardiff team made only 4 attacks, there was a lot of difference between the attacks of the two teams in the long run of this match. Aston Villa team was very strong and won this small 2-0 goal margin, but I think they started very well in this series.

Aston Villa probably thought they were going to easily beat Cardiff tonight, but that didn't happen because though they won at the end, the Championship club came to Villa Park with the mentality of get result that might see them progress to the next round of the English FA Cup. First half finished goalless and when the second half resumed, Cardiff were still resilient to succumb to defeat until in the 68th minute when Marco Asencio showed his class by putting the English Premier League club ahead and adding a second goal 12 minutes later. Since Aston Villa might are not likely to finish in a position that'll guarantee either UEFA Champions League or Europa League competition next season, they might be doing everything possible to win the FA Cup so they can play in Europe again next season but if you ask me, I don't think they'll be able to achieve that.

When you hear small teams playing against bigger teams, do not always think that the small teams will be very easy to defeat because these small teams have players who are young and very disciplined and also very hungry to show their worth and attract interest from bigger clubs, especially when they have the opportunity to play on a good platform like this that exposes them to the world.

If you are a supporter of the Villians, celebrate their win because not all wins come easily, regardless of the club played. Rashfornrd and Asensio are pairing up well again; it is a good partnership between those two, a partnership that can help Villa achieve their goals.

I was expecting to see an easy win for Aston Villa but seeing how Cardiff players played more from the defense I got tired of watching the game because the game became boring because it was one sided win e Aston Villa was playing against a team that was parking the bus as you earlier said. All thanks to Asensio who brought changes in to the game in the 68th minutes with his first goal before getting the second goal goal that sealed the win in the 80 minute of the game. I think the Aston Villa coach should consider giving Asensio more playing time in the English Premier League matches cause he may bring positive changes in the team with his goal scoring abilities.

Previously, many predicted that this match would end in Aston Villa victory and in the end they were able to do so without any problems. Cardiff City had given Aston Villa a balanced fight, but Aston Villa's experience and quality made the difference in this match.
Meanwhile, Man United must consider the game vs Fulham important because the FA Cup is one of the events that Man United must win in order to win a trophy this season.
