This has got to be the calm before the storm. I can recall from memory the last time I saw the mempool so low for so long consistently. This should be seen as a gift for those who have a lot of inputs to consolidate. When the boom kicks off itll probably cost $50 to send a Bitcoin transaction leaving a lot of BTC as dust.
It's about cycles. And after the next "boom kicks off", a similar calm period will come again.
It makes me sadder when it is not possible to send any transaction without it costing less than $10, for consolidation there will always be some period (like the current one)
