Nobody seems to care about inscribing anything anymore.
Actually I just consulted my favorite
Ordinals analysis dashboard and it appears that there was a resurgence in BRC20 Runes activity in the first part of this year:
Since transaction sizes for these protocols are small compared to media file inscriptions, they don't clog the mempool; at least not to the point where it drastically affects fees.
Interestingly, text inscriptions (BRC20/Runes) now account for 93% of all inscription activity since Dec 2022.
