    The moment you own a fraction of bitcoin or cryptocurrency, you ought to be regarded as an investor regardless of the amount and time duration you a choose to hold it.
    With that been said, there are traders and there are holders and there’s where the classification should fall and not investment.
    A person can decide to buy and hold bitcoin for as long as possible, while another can decide to be leveraging on the profits over a short period of time, at the end, the target of both parties is to make profit and what they’re both doing is called investing.

    Yep.

    But hodling for 5+ is always the best case if it's possible - nothing wrong with trying to go short term, but it usually would end up in uncertainty, which should be avoided at all costs.
