Whether you are holding long term or waiting to get out or back in on day trading you're an investor in my books. I'd say the riskier of the two options is definitely day trading. It can be grueling especially if you start going down and it's surely not for the faint of heart!

Traders would or at least should buy at a low price but low enough that they think after that there will be a price increase. Traders wait for the increase in price to sell immediately. They look for signs of it in the market.
Investing starts at buying bitcoin for me. Once you buy bitcoin and you intend to make profit from it then you have already invested. But if you bought bitcoin to use it for transactions then I do not think you can be called an investor.

You have literally explained the difference between an investor and a trader in your thread, an investor buys and holds Bitcoin for a long time (for those that are using the long term strategy) most investors are not bothered about the market but only focused on their long term goals and make massive profit, on the other hand a trader buys and sells Bitcoin frequently within a shorter timeframe, unlike an investor that doesn't bother about the market, a trader is always monitoring the market price frequently and they make more transactions than an investor. I'd say that an investor is focused on long term gains while a trader is focused on short term gains or an investor is someone that buys things and hold and takes their time to decide when to sell it while a trader is someone that buys and sells things frequently.

traders indeed focuses only on short term gains which they look for the perfect time to enter the market and the perfect time to take profit but investors most of them don’t focus on that but they hold for long time but still their reason for investing is to make profit, but their duration to how long they will hold is only base on their own target.

Investors are enthusiasts who buys and holds their bitcoin for an asset in a long or short term goals. They are potential not to hope on making profits in a short time.
Traders are enthusiasts who buys bitcoins and sells back in a quick term sporadically.
They are hoped to make profits in a quick time without undermining the risks of the volatile market.

Why should you care about the opinion? when you can judge it according to your own preferences, people are also like that towards trading and investment, I would say in my opinion that Investment is someone who saves in the long term or more than one month while your trading can start from seconds to months, but in its own purpose it is different and that is what makes the core difference between trading and investment, namely in the spread of your intentions in making purchases, whether for investment or traders. IMO

Of course, traders are a type of investor because their money is involved. They invest or buy one of the coins using their own money. And try to sell them at higher prices. Since they first buy a coin with their own money, it is definitely an investment. But this is a short term investment. Holdings are long-term investments. And those who do trading make short term investments.  Both are investments.  Because investment is when someone uses his money somewhere for the purpose of profit. It does not matter whether he invests for short term or long term. investment is always investment

Yes ,true traders can also be called Investors too but the difference lies in their different time frames, approaches and endpoint goals they want to achieve.But sometimes,Someone can be an investor and a trader at the same time too.
Although,some traders and even investors would not want to credit the same influence of who's the trader of who's the Investor but in the long run,it doesn't really matter as they're good in identifying opportunities and effectively making profits.

Op both short term and long term buy and sell of bitcoin are investors but sometimes we like to distinguish them by calling long-term holders investors while short term holders as trader, they are actually investors irrespective of the time duration of buying, holding and selling. The fact that you have bought bitcoin already  make you an enthusiast of bitcoin, which mean you have made some contribution to bitcoin, and you can be called a bitcoin investor as long as you're still holding the coin, but the moment you sell those coins, you've withdrawn yourself from the title investors, this is applicable  to both short and long term investors.
