Retirement requires a careful decision-making. Once you retire, youre no longer earning money regularly which you used to have, that alone is already a big factor for survival. So I wont easily give up my job just because bitcoin price is going to the moon. I can continue working and at the same time enjoy the benefits of my investment and reinvest again. But if my age really requires to render my retirement, then with that I have no control anymore.
No one should stop working forever, they can't, and not doing anything for a long time starts to get on your nerves after a while. But I wanted a certain comfort and financial freedom in my life, and the only way to do that is through Bitcoin. There is no such solid money in the world right now, all fiat money is worthless, they lose their value over the years, and Bitcoin is on the opposite path.

Another option would be to change your work from something that you have to do to earn money but don't really like to a job that you love but doesn't earn as much. In any case, being lazy or addicted to any kind of entertainment is one of the worst things you could do.
For bitcoin to reach 1mil USD, it will take a long time, and by long, I mean really long.
For retirement, dont think of that to be funded by bitcoin reaching 1mil, that is unrealistic, it might happen but it might not as well by the time we live here.
