This is not the first time a company CEO has received Bitcoin as salary. Peter Wall, the CEO of Argo Blockchain, was paid with Bitcoin in 2021. This is a good move by Remixpoint and Takashi Tashiro because they are promoting Bitcoin.


I suspect this move is for publicity or to gain public attention.  I have never heard about Remixpoint, but this news has made them popular. "Our CEO is paid in Bitcoin" sounds like good advertising information.

That is the point!, I think he is just spreading bitcoin awareness in his office space and his subjects would possibly start copying his style in no distant time and more so, some would even go the extra mile and secure their retirement benefits in bitcoin. As long as he stays in the position of the CEO for a longer time, the adoption would increase in that space. The company on the other hand may open the channel to allow any staff choose how they get their pay which would see some of them following the footsteps of their CEO. I commend him for his choices which reflects his support for bitcoin.
