What about just betting on goals, I thought that was the most friendly as you just get to bet on how many goals the game gets and it doesn't matter who scored and if your team won or lost.
It's a nice option, but trust me, there's still no guarantee that the bettor will win the bet. However, why I said there's no guarantee of winning even with that option is because, on different occasions, there have been games that ended with a score result of 0:0 (in soccer). So imagine when someone bets on over options (goals), and at the end of it, the game ends with no goals.
This way you get to enjoy the game more and get to win too irrespective of how the game ends.
The player only gets to win when the result of the game ends with the exact predictions he made. I have bet on over options before, and most of the time I lose, and to be honest, the odds for goals over are not always satisfying as they are likely small, mostly whenever both team good at scoring.
I know we love betting on our favourite teams to win but it just doesn't make sense when we know our club isn't the favourites yet we still put our hopes high and bet on them winning.
You are right; supporters love their team, and they are very loyal to their team, but still, my advice to them is that they should not allow their loyalty or love for their team to make them take the wrong decision during betting because they will definitely lose a lot of money and regret it later. Imagine losing your money to bet, and your team also loses; that's definitely a double loss at the end of the dday.
Doing so can defeat the purpose of enjoying the game because it's hard to focus and not be under pressure when you're losing money and still losing the games. The money mightn't mean much at the end of the game but during the period when the game is still going on, you'll be filled with emotions that won't be pleasant.
Absolutely right; there's no entertainment during losses. Even those who don't bet on their favorite team also feel emotional during losses.
