Just a shout out to Vega here for their freebet style (stake returned with winnings). Just won one from the Bundesliga pool they're sponsoring and just the fact you don't really have to hunt for a doubler to get the freebet back as actual credit, is rare from a book. Cheers, Vega!

I confirm that it's working for me as well. What a great update, I was so unsure considering I haven't really opened my account lately considering I'm only in it for sports betting and not that active as well but along the way I think I got a place to call home with this update. I've been eager to bet when NBA comes back. Hmmm I think the contest on G&R will be good to join now. Kudos to the team for this.

From the start, I could access the sportsbook even without a VPN.. it's just that to access some game providers, I needed to activate a VPN to bypass the restrictions.. but if you can access it now without needing to use a VPN, that's really awesome, it means you can bet so freely without having to turn on your VPN again.

No, I don't think it's the same, I just opened it after seeing your post but no, I can only access it through VPN.
It's been a while since I played on vegabet, so today I wanted to spend my balance on sports betting, I don't know much about MLB games but low odds are usually indicated for the superior team

Thank you for sharing the giveaway with us, although it has already expired. I don’t visit Twitter too frequently, especially since it became X, so it’s always much appreciated if you and other forum members keep sharing those off-forum giveaways and promotions in this thread.

Not sure, but based on this, it seems the sportsbook didn’t removed the geo-restriction completely but only for certain countries. This is still good news though.

Too bad updates or changes like this don't get announced officially by vega.bet reps. There are actually a lot of people having trouble accessing the sports feature because it's often unavailable, so news like this is really important for players who want to try out the sports feature. Just want to confirm too, before this the same thing happened but after reading this post the sports feature can now be accessed without any issue.

It's more comfortable for users to access and use the Vegabet sportsbook without VPN that can cause issues like slower speed when using the site, making bets, and sometimes with shared IP addresses with other users who use a same VPN provider especially free version of VPN softwares.

My worry is whether the sportsbook is Vega bet original or it is a product from sportsbook providers like Betby or others?
Because if it is not an original sportsbook, there will be applied terms from a provider and let's be more careful that whether there is any restriction from that provider. It will make sure that VPN use is allowed and users are safe with that or will have problems with the provider.

Fortunately, now the access is good without VPN and it releases a lot of stress on users but as said, users want to use VPN must be careful.

That's actually the concern of many users here that was discussed already a few weeks ago. However, the support also stated that using VPN is allowed and be required to play specific games from providers because not all providers are available in your country. That's why I was using VPN before to access the sportsbook. Though, I did not make any bet during that time. Now that it's available on my end even without using VPN, I can now finally give it a try.

New Vega Bet weekly event has been posted!

They have the usual format as the previous weeks, there will be 3 players who will win $50 each. A total of $150 weekly prize pool.
I'll definitely join this one so I won't miss my chance. For those who already participated in the previous weeks, see you guys and goodluck to us! Another great opportunity again to possibly win generous reward.
