$2k is not small money for most people. Scam is not about the amount, it's about what the platform actually did. Once we start excusing things based on how little was taken, smaller cases will never get fair treatment. I'm not saying this is definitely a scam, but going silent like this is not a good look. The real problem here is funds being held with no clear explanation. A legit casino does not leave users hanging for weeks with no word from the team.
$2k is actually not small fund with many people and with some people in developing and poor countries, it's like a fortune. It's wrong with an assumption that if a person can deposit such money to an account on casino for betting, that fund is small with the gambler. We all don't know how good or bad finance that gambler has as well as how the gambler manages own finance and gambling capital.
If users did wrong things, against ToS, and the casino has enough solid evidence to take action, it's all right but if there is lack of evidence, it will be unfair for the user and possibly damages reputation of the casino too. I, just like you, all don't have enough information from both sides to conclude which side is right in this case.
