Greedy investors will not, because they think the more they continuously buy and hold bitcoin, the more significant profits they will reap in the future. But in reality, no one can be sure with the future of bitcoin, and what we are seeing now may not guarantee the same thing will happen when the future comes.
My point is, sell when you are currently seeing valuable profits, and take time to diversify if you can. Bitcoin is profitable, but we can't tell how long it will be, but with multiple investments, multiple flow of profits will also be possible when they all paid off.
Someone who buys more and holds for longer can't be considered greedy as an investor, because the history has proven that the longer you hold, the better your profits will be, so if someone bought Bitcoin at $16k and didn't sell when it reached $69k, they didn't actually make a mistake, because they got the opportunity to sell their assets at $126k in the next bull run. Similarly, if someone didn't sell at $126k, they will probably get a better opportunity in the future. So I don't think we should say that holding for longer or buying more for the future is a greedy act, or we can't know if Bitcoin will be profitable or not in the future, because even though we can't see the future, the history gives us a pattern, and we follow that.
I know that no one can say that they have a crystal ball which shows that Bitcoin is going to be worth $500k in the next few years, because that wouldn't be correct. However, since we have seen Bitcoin going down in bear markets, and recovering and coming back stronger in the bull runs, so we speculate that the same thing will continue in the future because at the end of the day, it depends on the investors and how they do, because it is all about supply and demand, so as long as Bitcoin's demand keeps increasing, it's price will keep going higher over time.
