I don't anymore see that Lebron had a successful last shot, in the season where the Lakers won a championship, it was Davis who made the last shot and a game-winner (I know you guys still remember that). Lebron is great, no question about that, but he is not a clutch player like Kobe and Jordan, sorry to say but it's the reality.

He is not anymore the type of player who is chasing to have impressive stats, with his ball handling ability, he can just play as a PG and direct the play on the floor. Westbrook and Davis will just have to wait since the kick-out pass is possible if Lebron will drive the ball inside. Since Lebron is only now chasing the hall of fame record, he will not be so aggressive to prevent injury and he would be able to play more seasons.

^ Lebron might not have to carry his team almost alone like he had to do in his previous teams. Lakers are a stacked team with star players, so the pressure on Lebron is not that much for carrying them alone. Davis, Carmelo, Dwight all can play a part in this. And Lebron not having to work that hard like he had to do means that he will play longer in the NBA and he will get to please our eyes with more of his plays and I love that.

Westbroook is an excellent player to cheer up his teammates and the crowd and give strength to the team, and Carmelo can also be something positive on the team, an experienced and skilled player.

Nobody will be "alpha" in a team where Kobe plays, they knew it even back then and they know it now with Lebron. That team did not do well because of injuries, Nash was injured, Howard was injured, Kobe got injured, they were all injured and an aging Kobe had to play nearly all minutes by the end to bring that team any success which is why he was out.

Long story short the only thing that can keep this team from winning the chip is exactly the same as that team; injuries. If this team has a lot of injuries then I can see them losing bunch of games as well, and not win the ring, but if they are not injured then nobody will be able to stop them, not even Nets with Kyrie in it.

But on that championship run, Lebron was the Finals MVP. Being not a clutch is not really an issue as long as in every game, Lebron is consistent and making good averages. It's just become an issue that Lebron needs to be clutch because he was compared in the level of Kobe and Jordan. He is notably carrying an average team into winnings and that was a reality.
