This is why people call it "positionless basketball" because many players can play in many positions. Of course we are not going to see AD playing point guard and dribbling the ball to half court each position, dude is a big player. However instead of "pg-sg-sf-pf-c" type of strict situations in rosters, we have more like a "guard-wing-big" type of three stuff only, guards could do the same thing if they want to or could do totally different things, wings are different and big are.. well big.

So, I believe that lakers doesn't really have a player in a specific position, they have roles, like lebron and rondo distributing mostly (and lebron scoring too) and howard/deandre/ad being bigs inside, grabbing boards and finishing oops, or other wings trying to perimeter defend and score. All these are basically expected stuff. Also if you imagine Curry- Just getting out of injury Klay- Wiggins - Draymond is better than a team of Westbrook- Lebron - Melo - AD- DJ then you are definitely hopeless. These players could be old but look at their stats last season, overall these are better players, even at this age.
