A lot of teams were close to the playoffs, huge difference between almost making ayoffs and being a true contender.  They need klay to be at his best to be able to compete in the west.  They need to tread water before he comes back.

Ben Simmons rejected his teammates offer to fly to California and meet to discuss his desire to be traded to a different team.  They're saying he's "checked out" from the ball club and has no desire to have anything to do with the 76ers or his old teammates.  This seems like a last ditch effort to get him to come back, and I don't see them making any more efforts at this point.  I think he's going to be gone on the trading block as soon as a good deal can be squeezed out of the Warriors for Wiggins or the Kings for Fox. 

It is simply just a mandate because it is the only way of survival of humanity. What is the alternative to this? We have seen 4.5+ million people DEAD, this is not a joke. Instead of acting as if nothing happened, if the players get vaccinated and if the numbers drop like crazy thanks to everyone being vaccinated and the number of people who die from coronavirus drops to like even 100k per year, that would be great, still a lot but at least it is not millions.

Wiggins trying to get away from it because of "religion" is the most BS reason ever, I do not know which god he prays to, but I am sure every single god would want humans to protect themselves from a virus, or at least would want them to get vaccination so that they wouldn't spread it to everyone they know and kill others unintentionally (could we still call it unintentionally killing if you knew you could have saved that person if you were vaccinated but decided to not get the vax and cause their death?). All in all every single basketball player either should be vaccinated or they should be fired from their job without payment.

Honestly,  that was good for me. At least, it's now clear and no drama involved after all. Both parties are just waiting for what will happen next.

Browsing any latest rumors and speculations about Ben Simmons looks like there is still no progress or even just a hint about what teams are interested in signing him. There should be at least a candidate but found nothing.

News breaking now that Kyrie Irving has been supposedly spreading rumors around the NBA that the vaccine is a plot to connect black people to some sort of supercomputer. Very odd… The players union has refused any talk of a mandate and Irving says he won’t be getting it. This upcoming season might be an interesting one. If NBA superstars refuse the vaccine, the Golden State Warriors may end up playing half teams at every home game.

Where did you get this news? Found no one in the Google search. That news should not be taken seriously so better just ignore it or not shared it here. For example, there are Facebook groups posting fake news that seems legit if a person is not aware of fact checks.

But if that is true, the hell Irving is thinking. First, thinking the Earth is flat even backed by solid proof that it isn't and this one, connecting vaccine to supercomputer lol.


Yes, that local restriction without exception imposed to the state of New York, Brooklyn and Golden State leave players that don't want to be vaccinated, with no choice. New York players already comply with the local rule leaving Brooklyn and GS with unvaccinated players. If Irving and Wiggins will keep their stand, it will impact their home games winning percentage. But regardless, Nets and GS can still stand strong without these players. I think soon, they will be undergoing vaccination. Just creating drama today.

What I hope for Simmons is to comeback stronger, of course with the different team. So, he could have his revenge after a lot of criticism in Philly.
Simmons is a great player, low shooting percentage was his only issue. I know he can work it out especially in this trying times for him this could be a good motivation to improve his game in the next team he's playing.
D*mn, I just love seeing players getting their revenge after being roughly criticized.

Seriously, he'll probably be back in the first quarter of 2022?
I believe it's a long time, I don't know what Klay's real situation is like, but I believe in my opinion that he can come back before March 1st, maybe he can come back in January, well, I don't know for sure, it's just a guess on my part.

You said an interesting point, it is preferable that Klay comes back when he is 100% healthy, or something close to that.
The Warriors cannot anticipate Thompson's return, because if he returns early and is injured, the entire team could suffer from his absence again.
