In the first place, he shouldnt have been drafted, honestly, there were better players than him. But because of his father, he ended up on the same team, and it kind of makes sense. If he played for another team, he probably wouldnt have much relevance anyway.
At least with the Lakers, they can make a storyline out of it .. father and son playing together.
But TBH, not sure how long thatll last, either LeBron retires first or Bronny doesnt get re-signed once LeBrons gone.
The weird thing is, there weren't really any better players than him. While I understand that some may consider it a possibility, but Bronny was a very late second round pick, the kind of place where players who play for 3-4 seasons and leave the league to go play in Europe or wherever. Not that many players after first 50 picks ends up staying in the league after 10 years or something. That does happen, it is not unheard of, hell there were champions, like Manu for example, but that isn't common.
So Bronny was picked at a place where you can pick anyone you want, it just doesn't matter at that late stage of the draft, not like he was a top pick. Would anyone want him right now? Of course not, he isn't good enough, but he could grow, lets see what his potential is, if he can improve his defense, he could become a great defensive pest, and that may help him.
