If this happen to me on early bitcoin adoption, I will ignore it but for now, I will looking for it  !
I will use that for my school need and help my parent a bit, and the rest for my investation

Yes investing in altcoin is best at a moment, but its just matter of 3 months for halving, why to take risk by investing, better to hold and sell when price reaches on the top at the halving.

But I will save those 10 BTC for a price rise and as soon as the price rise I will sell them and keep the profit, the original amount I will return to you, because I have no right on the amount. Then there will not be any issue as you mentioned humorously.

The OP just ask the suggestion for all one, the best investment to his 10 btc not really give you 10 btc..
 anyway, quite sure trading is good way to invest bitcoin,

I would invest some of it in bitcoin startups and hold the rest for long term appreciation. I look at bitcoin more of a pension plan than a quick pump and dump but that's just me. Of course if I had a few k i would maybe buy some and sell some after the halving but I don't have that kind of disposable income.

Or perhaps would drop 5 to shapeshift, to get 278 ETH today (at their steal low prices today)
And hold hold hold, ... at least until 2024 halving.
It's so easy and trivial task....

If you give me 10 bitcoins, i believe it is impossible, why you give me 10 bitcoin, i think you want ask us that you have 10 Btc, and you wana ask what will you do with your bitcoins. the Answer is now you should save it because now halving is coming and halving will give you profit. and save your bitcoins now and wait for halving.

It i was given 10 BTC, the best thing for me is to save it right now to be able to use it in the near  furture on halving.
This is the best option i guess at the present moment.

as a bitcoinhodler i can tell you that you should be very careful not to get greedy and sell your coins by the time of halving.

for a good experience open a price chart like bitcoinwisdom.com and check out last time the big rise happened. a lot of people will sell long before the higher price and miss out on the biggest profit possible.
