I believe that all great powers must soon come to terms with a new world paradigm where global conflicts and supporters of such are no longer able to fund themselves using eternal fiat. the 20th century doctrine is disappearing with truly decentralized projects.

It is the counterfeiters that will suffer the biggest blow in this paradigm shift, people will use blockchain to dictate how funds will be spent on policing and other governmental jobs, but the government will be very weak in comparision to the global citizenry, it is a refreshing power  rebalancing here at the onset of the new century. It will create many benevolent opportunities for humanity.

However, most commoners are not capable of creative technological inventions, so it is the science class that is true gate keeper in this power shift, and if this small unit is coerced by the old world military to run their bidding, many bad things can follow for all.
