Is there a place to see how much funds in $ the dev team has or at least in BCT and Waves? Buy backs should only be done if there is lots of extra money and really nothing better to do with the money. I dont mind a buy back in the sense that it will make the price go up. Looking from an organizational perspective is it the best thing? Especially if the tokens bought back will again find their way back to the market to cover development costs as per the tweet.

He can't burn them - Waves is meant to be a decentralized platform and I don't think it has a burn feature. What he's doing is buying low, waiting for the price to rise significantly, then dumping, causing another massive crash - of biblical proportions! If you're not religious, you soon will be when you see the Waves part, leaving behind a baron wasteland. Grin

Maybe this was the reason for the brief spike over 15k. I would much rather that the price go up because of functionality like dApps than because of a buy-back. Waves is trying hard to break-out but BTC is keeping it down (for now)

The latest rumors tell that ETH will use BCash(!!!) network "for a while" for scalability.
This would show clearly the weakness of ETH. Also BCash has plenty of enemies.

Waves has already done so many advertisement but the development is very slow compared with another platform. the price of waves already destroyed and it was decreasing a lot from 60k satoshi to the 15k satoshi. People are still not feeling confidence with all of products that created by this platform.

Waves CEO and Founder Alexander Ivanov sold his stake in the Vostok project to GHP Group senior partner Mark Garber. The details of the deal were not disclosed, but both parties have already confirmed the fact of sale. According to Ivanov, the reason for his decision was the desire to concentrate on the development of the main platform Waves.
