Well South Africa won having one ball in hand. I think the women cricket is not that much entertaining. These days people like to see high scoring matches and if you see the women cricket then you will see they don't score much.

For example this match. The target was only 128 runs or so. But South Africa team had hard time to chase it.

I still don't understand why women play cricket ? Is it just compulsory that every game should have a women version of it too ?

There are few games which are only suited to Men and cricket is one of them.

The initial draft for the Euro T20 Slam 2019 got completed yesterday and the mainstream media chose not to cover it. A total of 6 teams are participating, including two each from the Netherlands, Ireland and Scotland. You can get the full team composition here:

Some of the international super-stars, such as Rashid Khan, Eoin Morgan and Imran Tahir are taking part. But the interest is going to be mooted in India, as Indian players are not taking part (although there were rumors that Yuvraj Singh might participate).

I am not sure if Ms Dhoni can play ODI because he has announced his retirement for One day International cricket. For t20, i think young players should be given the chance. The WI team is not so strong and i do not thing there is any need for Ms Dhoni in this series. This will be a good time where india can play with a new wicket keeper.

Dhoni didn't make any announcement related to retirement yet. He did withdrawal his name from upcoming Windies series, so we are not going to see Dhoni for a couple of month in Blue jersey. There are some chances of his announcement when South Africa- Bangladesh visiting India later this year.

Are you sure about it that he did not make any announcement about his retirement ? In the fist Semi final of the WC,  when Dhoni was run out, i clearly heard the commentator saying that this is the last time we see Dhoni on the match. 

Even i have found the commentary from the cricinfo where the commentator saying that "Dhoni is run out for the last time"

He meant it for World cup not other ODI matches.

This is a good theory. May be you are right however I would like to see him to play as long as he wants. Dhoni is a brand for Indian cricket and his existence gives the team extra boost. Everyone knows when Dhoni is in the pitch India will not lose the match.

This is not the first T20WC 2020 qualifier. Out of the 5 regions, 3 have completed the regional qualifying tournaments. The Asian qualifier will start from tomorrow, and a total of 5 teams are taking part. The last is the American qualifier, scheduled for August.

I am not very excited about this format. They have given only one slot for Asia (only the winner of the regional qualifier will participate in the global qualifying tournament), while they gave two slots each to Africa and Americas. Asia has some very strong teams like Nepal and Malaysia, and this is very unfair to them. On the other hand, weak teams such as the USA and Bermuda are being given cakewalks, so that they can qualify for the global qualifier.

Only 4 teams are taking part in the American qualifier (Canada, USA, Bermuda, Caymans) and two will go to the global qualifying tournament. It is very unfair to give these teams an advantage when compared to Nepal/Malaysia/Singapore.
