I don't know what is wrong with Pakistan today. Their fielding was just horrible. They dropped many crucial catches and gave away extra runs. Sri Lanka is now 134/5 with two overs remaining. I think that somewhere around 160 is possible. If the Pakistanis had fielded normally, then this total would have been at least 10-15 runs lower and they would have won the match easily. But now Oshada Fernando is making the maximum use of the dropped chances and he is smashing the Pakistani bowlers all around the park.

Well I finally decided to go with Sri Lanka.
However in this match Pakistan can expect something. The Sri Lankan innings could be worse if they were not missing some catches. They just missed another one.

And the collapse of gigantic proportion continues for Pakistan. They are already one wicket down while chasing Sri Lanka's 147. My bet for today was on Sri lanka after watching their performance in first two matches and I became even more confident after they chose to bat first once again. I think this is more or less going to be a replica of the last two matches. Let's see if the top order could survive the swing of bowlers.

Pakistan usually does not have good fielders and you will see dropped catches in every series and majority of the time they spill simple catches which makes you think that something fishy is going on. Sri Lanka will white wash the series if Pakistan is not able to make an attempt to perform in this match and naturally they will be under pressure and they have already lost their first wicket before putting a run on the board.

Well 30/1 things are getting heated up. I am surprised to see nuwan pradeep not in the sri lankan side. Never knew he wasn't playing in Today's match i think he was half of the pace strength of this team. Now I am beginning to feel a bit worried about how this match can turn out we need wickets of these two ASAP.

Sri Lanka finished at 147 and Pakistan would need 148 runs for a consolation win. But had they fielded properly, then they would have been chasing a total in the range of 1250-130 rather than 148. I thought that Usman Shinwari bowled well, but his figures gives an impression that he was horrible out there (4-0-43-0). Too bad that in the bowling stats we don't include the easy chances put down by the fielders while that particular player was bowling. Mohammad Amir was impressive as always and Imad Wasim was very economical. The only thing that went bad for Pakistan today was their fielding. Their bowling (both spin and pace) was very impressive.

8 Overs and already 51 on the board. I think it should be an easy win for Pakistan. Today Pakistan made a very good team selection. Though Pakistan is always unpredictable anything can happen. Even if they win today it won't affect this series as Sri Lanka already won the series. But this may boost the confidence for the selected community and the team for the next series. I think they should give Babar Azam rest from T20s he is better at ODI and Test Matches. Squad in T20s should be different from test and ODI matches but it looks like all the players playing T20 series is from their regular ODI squad.

Just when it looked like Pakistan was about to win, they lost their star batsman Haris Sohail. Wanindu Hasaranga got him out after a well made 50. Pakistan needs 54 runs from 29 balls, and the required run rate has now climbed to 11.3 runs per over. I would say that right now Sri Lanka is having the upper hand (you guys can disagree with me, but I am saying because I have seen Pakistan choking during similar situations earlier). Imad Wasim and Sarfaraz Ahmed are out there, and both of them are not in good form at the moment.

I think the problem is with the top order of Pakistan who are unable to play as per the pace of game or maybe just sheer badluck for them that they were put to bowl first? I never expected Pakistan would have been clean sweeped in this series. I think the ahmed Shahzad and umar akmal experiment failed terribly for Pakistan. Misbah-ul-Haq has a lot of questions to answer.

Pakistan showed their true color in the end Cheesy

, after loosing the first wicket they played really well and scored runs without loosing much wicket and now they have lost 6 wickets all of a sudden and it looks like an impossible total as all their batting power are in the pavilion, Sri Lanka is ready to white wash the series and they are bowling really well and their fielding and catching were impressive as well.

Can international cricket get anymore unpredictable than this? I don't remember anyone predicting a series victory for Sri Lanka for the T20I matches. The best prediction was 1-2 loss to Pakistan. And they performed beyond everyone's expectation and won the series 3-0. Not just "won", but clean swept the series. And that too with some of their key players missing from the squad.

It is unbelievable. Even now, Pakistan is the no.1 T20 side if you trust the ICC rankings. And a below strength Sri Lankan side have beaten them 3-0, at their own backyard. Now the dilemma will start for the Sri Lankan selectors. Are they going to stick with the squad that achieved something this much exceptional, or are they going to go back to the regular squad?
