. The situation is getting worse and there are talks that the lock down will be extended and during that period there is no cigarette or liquor and if you still need those you need to spend double the market price in the black market.
That's a stupid decision from BCCI. Within July, the pandemic will barely overcome. Players will be at risk of course as well as the associated people. That's not quite a few people only. BCCI must not have that rights to do so.
I highly doubt the government will allow any events to take place unless they could test every player and have a conclusive result and right now you cannot say that because one of my acquaintance tested negative in the first test and on the second test he is tested positive and now shifted to a hospital and under quarantine, so the testing procedure is not that straight forward.
I am sure they are being pressurized by Star TV as the loss on their part is pretty significant.
The loss is not a major factor when you take into consideration the risk involved in carrying on with the event even with upmost precaution.
