The first innings of Royal Challengers Bengaluru is about to end, they have already reached 176 at 18.2 overs. According to the live forecast, Royal Challengers Bengaluru are likely to score 193 but I also want to predict it, 188.

Yeah in Indian Premier League's 8th game was between the Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Chennai Super Kings. Both teams entered the game with high spirits to create a stage for an exciting contest. RCB opened the first inning with Phil Salt and Virat Kohli with a partnership of 45 runs. Devdutt Padikkal played one down but lost his wicket at the second partnership of 76 runs.  Rajat Patidar played very well with fifty-one runs, but unfortunately couldn't stay on the pitch till the end. CSK's bowler Noor Ahmad got 3 wickets against RCB, restricting them to a target of 197 runs. In response, CSK opened with Rachin Ravindra and Rahul Tripathi, who scored a partnership of 8 runs. Ruturaj Gaikwad lost a wicket at zero runs, and if we talk about the overall performance of the team, the batting lineup failed against RCB bowlers. Josh Hazlewood got 2 wickets, creating a pressure condition for CSK. RCB won this game by a great margin of 50 runs.

Exactly it is really surprising to see them start season so strongly winning their first two matches including important win against top team. This new energy suggests that RCB might have really good season and who knows maybe they will even win their first IPL title ever which would be amazing moment for Virat and RCB fans. As you said RCB bowlers did great job defending small score of less than 200 even though they were playing against strong team with many good players. This big win gives RCB important points and confidence boost early in tournament which will definitely give team more energy and help them keep moving forward.

It's not like the spin bowlers won't get an extra advantage on the Chennai wicket. In the first innings, Royal Challengers Bangalore were able to bat as well on that Chennai wicket, but in the second innings, the Chennai batsmen could not bat in the same way. I would say it was definitely a wrong decision for Chennai Super Kings to win the toss and field first. 

If Chennai Super Kings could have batted first and set a target of 170 or 180 runs, I think they would have been able to keep Royal Challengers Bangalore within these runs in the second innings. The batsmen batting in the second innings seemed to struggle a lot and many balls were supposed to come into the bat but those balls behaved differently due to which the Chennai batsmen gave away wickets to the Bangalore bowlers. Bengaluru have made a good start to the tournament by winning two of the first two matches.
