I think England need to focus on their squad. I heard there were raising excuses on their loss. They cannot excuse that they don't have key players, Phil Salt is in the team, Ben Duckett, Jos Buttler, Harry Brook, Liam Livingstone, after having this type of batting attack, I don't think that a team can bat that poorly.
Also if we look at the bowling side, Jofra Archer (even if he is alone, he should be a heavy challenge for any opponent to face.) But he is not performing, while Mark Wood and Adil Rashid are also in line. How is it possible with this type of squad, they had this type of loss.
England recent loss is very disappointing and it is not right to make excuses about not having some important players. They have strong team with good batsmen like you have already mentioned Phil Salt, Ben Duckett, Jos Buttler, Harry Brook, and Liam Livingstone so they should be able to score well. They also have good bowlers who should be able to get wickets and stop other team from scoring. Problem is not with team but with how they are playing and planning. England needs to accept that they lost and focus on getting better instead of making excuses.
This is where they failed, especially in their inability to get Abhishek Sharma out quickly. If any batsman had scored 135 runs off 54 balls, the score would have easily reached 220+. After Abhishek Sharma, however, Shivam Dube played an innings of 30 runs off 13 balls, and no other batsman came forward to play a stormy innings.
Except for an innings of 55 runs from 23 balls by Philip Salt, no other batsman could score any significant runs, so it was a complete failure for the England team here. If there is a bowling failure, then if there is a batting failure, then there is nothing to say.
