New Zealand is always having reputation as one of the best team in cricket world while Pakistani team is badly down and out even now many former Pakistani players criticizing current system and selection system which bring them in ICU from here now they have just two choices graveyards or back to normal this one is not easy because this needed overhaul which need good professional approach.

Things has never been on merit for Pakistani team, but now they are collapsing and have no choice to stay at bottom with this level of game today New Zealand done good job and give good punishment. Pakistani team is playing without any strategy and motivation which is surely giving them results like these now with this result all is clear how things will be gone in remaining series for them.

ICC Champions Trophy2025 was not ended as expecting just because of this now its taking time but in next 48 hours something going to happen.
Soccer is still the most popular sport on this forum so many pools are going on, but sadly cricket is having no response like its needed.
Most chances this time not free pool because sponsorship is issue, but something positive will be happened behind the scene few things going on all will be ok.

I have no complaints about the loss against New Zealand. Since they have a new team, they should definitely be given more chances. But I don't think the team will be able to send a good message in this series. But I still support them. If Pakistan cricket is to improve, then the new and experienced players should be given chances. If they get a chance, it would not be unreasonable to expect something good from them.

Jacob Duffy and Jamieson bowled very well for New Zealand in the match. Both of them took 7 wickets and the team ended their innings quickly. I believe they could not get set in the first match but in the next matches we can see a good innings from them.

Pakistan performance has been really bad because of their batsmen putting pressure on themselves due to which Pakistan will lose the match.  Pakistan batsmen scored very few runs in the first 10 overs and lost too many wickets due to which Pakistan could not achieve their success.  New Zealand's performance is very strong due to which they managed to win the match.  The New Zealand bowler put a lot of pressure due to which Pakistan could not play well in the match and it is difficult for Pakistan to have a win list in this series because New Zealand performance is strong and Pakistan is not playing as well as expected from them.  Pakistan will have to work hard and play well to win the match.

Pakistan's newly selected T20 cricket team was very disappointing in the first match. The first three batsmen of the Pakistan team got out after scoring only one run, it looked like a football match was going on. Pakistan's batting collapse gives an idea of how much the team needs senior players like Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan. But it is very difficult to beat New Zealand at their home ground. The pitches support fast bowlers, and Pakistan's newly selected batsman is not ready to play. They need to improve his skills. The second match of the series will be played on 18 March. I hope Pakistan will put up a good performance and try to win this match to level the series.

In this case I will agree with your opinion. And also I want to say that I am seeing some new faces in the Pakistan T20 squad. Like the Babar Azam, Rizwan and some others are missing in the  squad I don't know if there were still in that T20 squad or get retirement.

But whether they retire or not, here we get a glimpse of one thing that Pakistan's forward team squad needs to be reformed again. Because they have played badly in the batting lineup as well as the bowling lineup. But we have only seen that they have scored low but if we look at it from another angle, they have allowed New Zealand to touch the target easily by losing only 1 wicket in just 10.1 overs run rate was more than 9.

Most of the players who were given a chance in Pakistan's new squad were dismissed today in single digits or for zero runs. Then there was a need for senior players because Mohammad Rizwan, Babar Azam, Fakhar Zaman were the ones who performed well. Most of the changes were made to the squad to balance the team, but in terms of performance, good performance could not be expected, in which case the team did not benefit from changing the squad. In fact, the Pakistan team lacks balance, but if we can't see the same kind of performance from Pakistani players as New Zealand did on the same wicket, then it means that Pakistan has become a third-rate team.

IPL starts from 22 March so there are still some days and hopefully there will be some pool started by someone.  

Otherwise, I may contact Royse and ask him if he can sponsor this event once again. In that case, I would setup a superbru pool. To be honest, It won't be much fun watching the IPL without having a competition here.

Not many posters will join from here if there is a paid pool, it's unfortunate but it's true.

Despite offering free pool, many active posters from here didn't even join the last Champions Trophy pool, so not many takers or most of em are Alt accounts.   

The points of my mentioned comment were the same that Pakistan team may not have released their T20 squad against New Zealand with a balanced team, If they had a balanced team, maybe their style of play would have been more organized. But an attempt is being made to clearly highlight Pakistan's weaknesses this season. Because the Pakistan team being all out for such a low score might not decorated them.

Most of the few players we see in the Pakistan squad are the new faces, that is the PCB may be obsessed with finding something good. No matter how much Pakistan plays with this same squad, it will not be an easy process to please its fans because they will not get a complete result from this match.
