Pakistan from day one is brilliant in T20 format main reason is that they don't allow there players to play T20 leagues while there is some intentional series, moreover doors of IPL are closed for thre players (thats a blessing in disguise). WI team is struggling but there main players like pollard and bravo are busy making money in different leagues.
This is not all about IPL and their form in this short format currently West Indies is playing without many players few having disputes with their board, so they are enjoying in different leagues and few are injured like Pollard is injured, and few players tested positive for covid19 after arrival in Pakistan hopefully they will be having some better selection in ODI series.
Bravo and Gayle is already having Retirement from International cricket just because of this now selection committee is looking for some newly players for future but still I am having no good and positive movement into West Indies cricket because now they completely fail to have some good and quality players which is big concern for them in domestic set up.
