    What a shocking defeat for Nepal in crucial semi-final ICC Men's T20 World Cup Qualifier as I was expecting very good win for them but UAE with the help of adopted players done some better and now have place into final for facing Ireland. Mohammad Waseem and Vriitya Aravind done amazing job for the UAE, and they give very tough target of 176, but Nepal completely fail and manage just 107 runs in 18.4 overs this was one-sided affair. In the second semi-final Ireland beat Oman as Andy McBrine's all round performance give them a place in the final which is going to play 24 February.

    Even UAE win against very spirited Nepal which was full of local talented players, I am feeling bad for them as it's not good and fair from ICC because they need to bring some law for promoting team like this instead of the UAE and Oman.

    I just checked the new rankings and find out that Pakistan has highest number of points i.e. 12,225 but since they have played more number of matches thats why they are at no 3. There is just 10 points difference between India and England. England recetly to WI in T20 series and before that they have horrible Ashes. So I think England will go more down in the list because of there performance.

    Scoring 23 runs in the last over for Lahore was a miracle itself. Shaheen Afridi  was the man who hit the six in the last ball to tie the match and later he was the person who could not defend 6 runs in the super over. I am not complaining about him as 6 runs were never going to be enough in the super overs.

I think they could have done better if they had bowled a little better with batting.

    This game cricket is amazing and now the introduction of this format we have very good entertainment yesterday we have two amazing overs first in match between Bahrain vs UAE in last over UAE need 27 runs then their batsman done amazing job even they lost match, but this was really shocking as he hit 2 sixes 2 fours and 2 time double runs but sadly still lost match by 2 runs.

    Shaheen Afridi is never been a clean hitter but his this achievement will be remembered in twenty/20 history for very long time even they also lost match in Super Over but still hitting 3 sixes and total 23 runs in last over never been easy for any player specially a tail-ender good and entertaining cricket is now going to end in few days as we are heading for play-offs and then final on Sunday 27 February.

    Rohit Sharma's captaincy is good along with his performance. You can see this during the match, most of the time the decisions, fielding plans will be discussed along with the team particularly with Kohli and changes were done. This is a kind of good attitude and the combined effort used to give best results. This time it was the second match which was supposed to be a winning match for West Indies. In my view West Indies is good, but they need to train players to understand the match situation and play accordingly.

But Nepal is a poor country and they don't have the money power when compared to oil rich Gulf states such as the UAE and Oman. Nepal team was 100% comprised of citizens, while the UAE created a team by importing first class players from India and Pakistan on tourist visa and then including them in the national team. Feels bad for Nepal. Well.. at least the Ireland team managed to qualify.

    Sandeep Lamichhane is no doubt a great player and that's why he has played almost all top T20 leagues like IPL, BBL, PSL. It Nepal can have few more players like him they can easily reach the level of Afghanistan. Ireland made a strong debut in 2007 WC by beating Pakistan but since then there is not much news from there camp.

    But I am from my heart Qalander, so I am feeling they will be champion of this season their performance were also very good with Fakhar is in great touch with having 500+ runs is great achievement for this guy.

    PSL is seeing some great achievements this year and it has been a success story till now for Pakistan. It would actually be interesting to see how much money this year's PSL generates.

    With every PSL edition, PCB earns more money than the previous editions of this tournament. Also, if the whole tournament is played within the country (and not shited to a neutral venue like dubai), the earnings are even better.

    To have a glimpse of the earning, you can see the Salary Comparison of PSL Superstars in 2016 and 2022 and see the increments. The more the players are been given the salaries, the more the board is making money through the league.

    Today, we have last match between Lahore Qalanders vs Peshawar Zalmi even both teams already in play-offs, so this match is not going to have any impact on league table because Qalanders are having very healthy NRR which is going to help them for staying at second spot and Zalmi will be at 3rd position. But I have no idea who is going to face each other in play-offs, but hopefully we will have some good and entertaining cricket in coming days of this event and better teams will qualify for Grand Final.

    No, PSL or any other league cannot compete with IPL because the amount of money spent on IPL is far more than any other league.
    Secondly, India will NEVER schedule the IPL at the time PSL is in progress because this will hurt them as the viewership will be divided which they will never want.

    Today, we have the 1st playoff between Lahore and Multan. The winner of today's match will reach directly to the finals however the loser today will still have one more chance.

    IPL is obviously going to be a lot bigger in terms of money but that's not going to make India host the IPL at the same time as the world cup because they will lose the money that they will gain while the world cup is going on. And I don't think no team or cricket board is stupid enough to play their League instead of the world cup.

    Yes, I remember the glory of the T20 cricket world cup where India lost all the important matches. Are you saying about this glory ?

    Comming back to the PSL playoff, Lahore Qalanders are well in control of the match as Multan only made 110 runs in 15 overs. I think this wicket is not a 200+ one and a score of 150+ could be competitive one.

    I think this is a big reason why Pakistan is trying to host every series in their own country and not any neutral venue. In Pakistan obviously, Pakistan is going to have more viewers and also generate more revenue. This PSL has generated quite a buzz in the whole cricketing world and I think it is going to get only better from this situation.

    Pakistan has a really good pipeline and we can guess that by watching the players that are being produced by Pakistan. And that alone I think can be really important for Pakistan to get them up through the rankings. And maybe it could be a thing that PSL will become the strait rival of IPL but I think that's a long time away, to be honest.

    Today Bangladesh vs Afghanistan has played an excellent match. Afghanistan were all out for 215 runs. In the beginning, Afghanistan played very well. But could not run enough. Later, Bangladesh went down to play at the target of 216 runs and lost 6 wickets in the first 10 overs. Where the main players of the team are out. Tamim, Shakib, Mushfiqur, Mahmudullah, Liton. Later, Afif and Mehdi scored 174 runs each. Afif scored 93 and Mehedi 83 runs. In the end, that's what nobody thought. Bangladesh left the field with a victory.

    Multan Sultans completely outclass Lahore Qalanders in qualifier of PSL it is really shameful end of this match because after end of Multan inning I was feeling great about Lahore they have done very good job and restrict them for good achievable target of 163, but sadly no batsman try to stay on crease and have some better chance for Lahore just Fakhar done good job and complete his another fifty and after end of 13 overs I was feeling now they can chase this target easily but suddenly introduction of Dhani bring down these all hopes, and he ruined Lahore batting with his classic bowling.

    Wicket in every over for Multan really amazing from their bowlers and now most chances they will win again this title because after today's performance I am feeling they are unstoppable.
