Complain with qwk for spamming you with merits.

You are receiving merits so close from each other that the bot is sending the notifications in batch and not updating the cached count between each of them. I'll try adding a delay.

I really don't know why so many are obsessed with merit counts. Is that like REALLY so important to most users on this thing?

TryNinja, you should do a poll about the most used/desired features. I think that would be interesting. Personally, I like/value following topics a lot more etc.

New feature:

- Whitelist users on your tracked topics: you can now (optionally) whitlist which user should trigger notifications when posting on your tracked topic.

Example: You add this topic in your tracked topics list. Rather than getting a notification for every single post, you can add my name and only get notified about my posts.

Why? Imagine if you were following ChipMixer's signature thread when DarkStar suddenly opens 1-4 slots. Right now, you would have received "only" 107 notifications of people trolling posting their applications. And that already happened with another user following his campaign's thread.

It's ok. I think most aren't really that obsessed and they would do fine without seeing their merit count on every notification. But if I'm putting something on the bot, I want to make sure it's working fine, so I don't mind if people demand a fix for those issues.

I have no idea how I would do that.

But anyone can tell me what they like/want on the bot. I'm always listening. The above feature was requested by a member of my local board.

I updated it yesterday in the german part of the forum and i had the same "problems" that Lakai01 describes here. The new feature was a bit hidden but with the instructions now everyone should be able to fix it.

is it because the poster clicked the quote button from my post but then decide to delete my post before its first published?

The bot seemed to have missed one (1) merit on my profile at 22:35; but mentions are still working fine (not sure about merits because I haven't gotten anymore yet).

Well, that is rather generous of you, thanks. And another small issue; altough I did receive the last notification (3rd merit); merit count showed 510 instead of 513; as if the 3 ones I received during that interval had not been counted

I had the same behavior myself.
But there is already the right solution:

X = correct number

If you do this once and correct the value it will most likely work correctly again in the future
