    Yes mate it was big upset for indian team because of the Indian team out from the world cup with first round, but this time I sure that Indian team will be reach semi final without any upset.

    Hey while the tournament is yet to start I can sense the excitement for it on the forum already, as for the upsets is concerned it’s difficult to say if big teams will avoid upsets or not. I remember the World Cup of 2007 lost huge bets because of those upsets, hence this time will be playing wisely. Also I feel the teams that can cause upsets are Afghanistan, West Indies and Srilanka these three can surprise the top teams.

    Not sure by what you mean they ain't as strong as previous Australian teams? Its almost the same team as the last when they won the World Cup in Australia. Don't forget that Smith will almost be a certain starter in the team and Warner can also slot back in if they need him. The bowling attack is one of the best in the world so I think they have a very strong team.

    I don't think righting off Australia is good decision because now they are doing very good and they already won last 8 ODI's away from home they can won and enjoy next 4 years as champion right now we have 3 good and equal sides Australia England and India about fourth its tough as many going and can kill on game day.

    I agree mate, I think the fourth is either New Zealand or South Africa but I think I would put South Africa just ahead of New Zealand on current form in ODI matches. There is no doubt that the winner in my mind will come from either of these top 5 teams, there may be a surprise from say Sri Lanka, Pakistan and maybe even Bangladesh but I can't see them winning the World Cup.

    The problem with West Indies is that their players perform very poorly when playing for the national side. They will always be on top of their form while representing various franchises in the IPL, BBL, BPL.etc. But while playing for the national side, there is hardly any team spirit and co-ordination.

    There is another team which i would like to mention here, West Indies with the new management might resolve the issues with the players they had and if that happens before the world cup they will have a strong team with some power hitters and they could upset some top teams if they click as a unit and with Gayle opening and with Pollard and Andre Russel they will have a very strong power hitters that could change any match.
    South Africa and New Zealand could be in the semis, things are getting interesting nearing the world cup.

    Yes I agree with you about the WI as they have shown in recent matches against England that they can match it with the best in ODI matches and they also have some good young talented players that could rise to the occasion on the biggest stage of them all the World Cup.     Still there is some uncertainty regarding that match. Recently, India and Pakistan were at the brink of war and the public opinion in India is against playing this match. There is a good chance that India will refuse to play, and forfeit the points to Pakistan.

    Zimbabwe won the toss and took bowling, UAE got all out for 110, showing very poor performance, Zimbabwe batting good 45/1 in 14 overs, if this is the way it goes then zimbabwe will win this serious easily. But in this type of series you can not say some time from winning side they lose the match also.

    Zimbabwe will win this series easily, but that is not going to anything to improve their reputation. They failed to qualify for the world cup, and their performance against the top teams remain abysmal. I am pessimistic about the future of Zimbabwean cricket.
