Recently i have read an article in smartrecovery.org and there is this one way that really caught up my attention " Visualize what will happen if you give in to the urge to gamble". Very simple if you can do visualize what was the worst thing would happen if gamble.
Nice try but I wonder if gamblers would follow what they read, you know most of the gamblers especially those who are addicted will not even listen to their friends and family that are concern to their future because of gambling, it could world for others but the majority of addicts would not be healed by just a certain book.
Yes in some ways it wouldn't be applied to worst cases but i believe that if the person do this one little by little and slowly then it might be getting good result daily because in the end only those people who are in the situation could cure them selves if they are willing then they can surely do it
but if not they need more support.

This is very interesting, I'll go take a look about the article. Visualization is really important - to visualize what we really want our life would be. I remember when I was just in high school, I read this book creative visualization by shakti gawain. I can still vividly memorize its definition (I am not copy pasting it, promise!) Here is the definition: Creative Visualization is a technique of using your imagination to create what you want in your life.
Absolutely most of us can sometimes think of what's ahead of us it maybe in the future carrier, love or etc. We also do sometimes think if we did this what would happen next and if not.
