Try to get a good job isn't the answer. I think what you should do is be committed to your current job. If you love what you are doing, you wouldn't be bored doing it even after 8 hours of work. Yeah it can help but i think its better to go first in psychiatrist because they can give recommended how you can stay away in gambling if you are addicted in the game.. Before i was addicted to play which is slots and sometimes trying my luck on dice game.. daily i can spend 0.01-0.05 if i have lots of earnings from my blogging and trading.. but now stop because bitcoin increasingly fast and now i am regretting about spending my bitcoins..
So right now i stop and change my passion and change my hobby i am now addicted the game cold pinoytalisman if sometimesi bored on this game i go in league of legends and dota 2..

Professional help is really important. They will have a clearer idea on what you have been going through and they may be able to come out with a suitable method to deal with your addiction. Of course, family and friends are equally important and they too can provide a huge supporting roles to aid you to suppress the gambling addiction.

Yes you should seek a professional fpr professional advice. The problem might not be the gambling but something inside of you or the way you think. Also a support group is a good idea since everyone there is there because of gambling so you won't feel all that alone.

Yep, everyone of us even if you deny it is just a 'baby' inside. We're all stubborn. If you force someone to seek professional help, he would just won't listen or would do the exact opposite of what is told. I think the chance of someone completely leaving gambling is all dependent on his intrinsic drive. If the person didn't want to change since day 1, then he wouldn't be able to leave gambling. He should be ready to let go of everything that leads him to gambling.

Well professional help can to settle a lot of issues. Even those who dont want to go to professional help, there will be activities provided by the professional to let them slowly aware of the bigger pictures. It definitely wont be a one time off that they will change 180 degree. It will takes a period of time to convert the mindset away from gambling. However, all these are useless if there isnt any parents or friends support.

Indeed! Someone can have fun in gambling, but there are many more funny games. For example, classic ones: just try to play in Sonic The Hedgehog instead of some boring Dice (http://www.ssega.com/sonic-the-hedgehog). Dice is boring, Sonic is interesting, Dice can grab your money away, Sonic can't. So, advantage of Sonic is obvious.

Who said dice is boring. Better ask the gamblers who are addicted towards dice gambling. Then you pay them some money back and you go sell things you would rather keep but you must sell to pay the debt. Afterwards you try win the money back to buy things again but you lose and take more loans and even more debt. Then you must steal. It will get worse and worse from there. No happiness is in that.

We all think of doing it everytime we lose in gambling but when days past we always forget our losses and start to a new beginning and same cycle happens, we still lose but we failed to notice that or losses has been accumulated a big amount already.
