    I very much agree with everything about bitcoin development, especially if it's a bitcoin bank. although I do not quite understand the function of it, but I believe it will make bitcoin increasingly popular and trusted among the community, and I also believe that it will improve people's curiosity about bitcoin

    In my point of view we don't need to use bitcoin bank in function, because bank use to store our balance and then we usually use bitcoin wallet to store our bitcoin. Both of these have a same function and I think it is not too efficient to use both of these at the same time.
    We can keep our bitcoin in popular bitcoin wallet such as blockchain, xapo, coin base, bit-x and other else, to make us stay believe that it is secure enough.

But if the bitcoin bank is a formal bank that recognized by goverment it is mean that we have to pay tax.

    I really do not agree with the idea of the bitcoin bank unless and until it is being started by a trusted corporate or any big agency. Trust is the main factor behind the idea. If any unknown company starts this, they may scam you and run away with your bitcoin holdings.

    Also if you are keeping your bitcoin in a bitcoin bank, then you will have to disclose your bitcoin holding to the government and they will start taxing you. So for the betterment of the bitcoin fraternity, keep your identity secret and use secret wallet.

    It will increase adoption and popularity no doubt about that but it will kill the spirit, the idea of what bitcoin is, that is why we must not use those services since it goes against everything that bitcoin stands for.

    I dont understand why people does request a bank to store their bitcoins, i do believe is because they afraid to loose their bitcoin into exchanges or to the wallets providers, but who would manage those bank, a single person? Makes no sense at all we trust our coins into a single person or more then one these days, there are few people that we can trust.

    I am very comfortable with wallets. I can do everything i need with wallet online. None is required to work for me. It saves my time as well. I do no require to go to a place to complete all my transactions. I do not require any third party. I am not charged fees as well. So i get all facilities here. Why i require a bank where more energy is required to fulfill my purposes.

    Bitcoin and banks are like complete opposites.

    Only reason some people are even hoping for a bitcoin bank is probably in the hopes of "insurance", coz banks guarantee up to a certain amount of your deposits. So with all the hacks going on, they're hoping that there's somewhere that could guarantee their money. As for interest and investments by banks, meh. It's all about security and insurance they're really after.

    Anyway, I doubt it would work. In so many ways. sigh.

    but to me it will be a good idea but it will take some more time. when the user of bitcoin increase to a good number and when people will feel the importance of bitcoin banks then this idea will really work.

    Keeping your money by yourself has a greater chance being stolen than inside a bank, even if you put it inside a safe/vault with experienced robbers it won't be any problem with them, also  why not trust banks? They don't still hour money anyway they just decrease its value over time.
