You expect too much from ordinary people
If you want to teach people to use personal wallets, you should start teaching them when they are still in school. Most people (your average people) after 30 years don't want to learn anything new since they are quite content with what they had been taught when they were young. Indeed, if they are cornered by circumstances they would learn almost anything, but if they have choice they will most certainly take the path of least resistance
i guess it is true that i expect to much, but without expectations it is just a question of time until all is lost.
you also brought the point up i forgot to mention in my last post. the education.
we need to become a society that teaches these important things to everybody. right know i can teach my kids and my friends that are interested, but why not teach such essential things in school? i am talking about finance in general not only bitcoin. bitcoin would only be the icing on the cake. i can only hope for the future, but i do not see this happening to be honest.
I think that question has already been answered
And the answer is that the government doesn't want to teach kids things that would threaten the existence of the government itself. There are private schools for that, but the majority of the kids there are children of the wealthy elites so they are expected to become the next government in the future and shouldn't go against the system, at least, not in massive numbers
