I don't think thats the problem. My ping rate is 41ms, which if I'm not mistaken is  41 thousanths of a second. That is quite consistent I find.

That's really huge amount of bet and he just lost, that's really risky. If I have that amount of Bitcoins I'll make sure to hold all of them and wouldn't risk it out on betting even if the chance of winning is high, just like what happened to this user he was lost even if the winning is high.
