I'm not sure if this "either students or retired person" argument is valid.

It's more like a festival and always gets a prime time slot where family members, friends gets together and have some fun. Yeah it's true that historically IPL window were always close to summer vocation but it's not targeted to any specific audience but all section of society, specially middle class.   

Gujrat Titans  :  Kolkata Knight Riders

After winning the toss, Gujarat decided to bat today. At the end of 18 overs, their collection is 140. Most likely today's pitch is bowling friendly pitch. Even then, it is difficult to win by setting a target below 170. Kolkata's team is not weak. Their batsmen are performing well in almost every match. And so if Gujarat gives less than 170 targets today, then Kolkata is more likely to win today's match.

GT add one more success to there name and now they have won 7 out of 8 games they have played. 156 was a very small target and KKR should have chased that. Apart from Andre Russell and Rinku nobody bothered the scoreboard much and in the end its 8 runs victory for GT.

Royal Challengers vs Sunrisers

An absolutely horrible performance from RCB tonight. they are all out for only 68 runs and they could not even play the whole 20 overs.
Right now  Sunrisers are batting and it seems like it is going to be really easy for them to win this match. There is no way Sunrisers are going to lose this match. 2.4 overs have been bowled and the score is 21 runs for no loss.

I was totally surprised and disappointed to see Bangalore's performance today. Before this match, Bangalore had won 5 out of 7 matches. Their performance in every match was excellent. But I did not imagine that they would have such a batting disaster against Hyderabad today. Bangalore had a very bad performance today.
On the other hand, Hyderabad has won the last 5 matches and is now in very good form. Maybe in a few days they will occupy the top spot on the table.

These figures are not horrible as it's usual business of RCB they are having four lowest totals in top ten lowest totals of IPL history, but good thing happen they fail to break their record of the lowest runs which is 48 against KKR in 2017. Just Maxwell and Suyash which successfully touch double-digit all others fall in single and good thing happened Kohli having his successive Golden Duck of this season which is not having big chaos on his career as he is already in talk of town about his form so with these innings he is helping his opponents to do more shout on him about his future.

With today win now, SRH jumps at second spot behind GT as now they are having 10 points from 7 matches and RCB still at fourth after having 10 points from 8 matches.

Rashid Khan and Mohammed Shami were the pick of the bowlers and they made the major impact in the game and then their fielding was great and Lockie Ferguson was great in the outfield, saving boundaries and then taking the catch of Andre Russell.


Andre Russell tried to be the finisher and pull off the MSD trick but he failed once again this season.

I thought MI is the worst team of this edition but RCB yesterday proved me wrong totally as they were bowled out for just 68 runs. There are only 2 players in there batting line up that manages to reach double figure. In the end an easy win for SRH.
What's more interesting is that MI are playing there 8th game and everyone is looking to see there first win.

Despite having experienced players like Faf du Plessis, Virat Kohli, Maxwell and Dinesh Karthik in the squad, it is a shame for Bangalore to lose all their wickets for just 68 runs. It was an unimaginable performance. None of us were ready to see such a performance. Even in this match, I bet for RCB.
RCB will face Rajasthan Royals in their next match. Rajasthan Royals are a very strong team this season. I hope Bangalore will be able to play well in the next match.

The Kohli situation is pain. Kohli should battle it out during the IPL and afterward take a call. Every high performing proficient goes through these ruts. From an unstoppable run machine and the nations biggest heartthrob to a struggling. Even left out the captaincy job make no improvement, he struggling for quite a while and presently his other colleagues. Despite all of these RCB still holding no 4 standing. If such execution keep going long, ultimately lost their situation.
