That was closer than most though it would be especially when Aurora were up 2-0 and looking to run away with it. But then all the sudden it was 2-2 and on to the 5th and final map.

For that one, Aurora was down 7-10 and looked to be beaten as they had run out of money to buy any weapons. I really thought they were done so I turned it off because they didn't have any momentum whatsoever.
When I checked to see what the score was they were 12-11 in favor of Aurora.
I don't know how they managed such a comeback like that, especially so late into the map.
But they manged to win the grand finals and getting their first LAN win for a major.

Are Aurora still considered a Turkish team? There were some people on chat saying that they were going to get kicked out of their country if their organization was still based in Turkey and possibly jailed.
This does seem farfetched but you never know since I am sure this had happened in communist countries such as China in esports before.
I mean getting threatened by a government to stop due to travelling to other countries since that is what these esports teams need to do inorder to participate in tournaments for dota2 and counterstrike.

They players are obviously turkish, and they changed organisations to be able to take on gambling sponsors.
Pretty sure they arent based as an org in Turkey anymore, but being turkish citizens the govt can personally punish them and hold them liable for promoting gambling

Well, Faker is father of LPL for a reason, still undefeated to China since 2013 afaik.
TES isn't a well-crafter roster tbh, and they know how to counter the draft of TES like what happened to that corki. Keria really played well too in that series and other players of T1 too. Majority of TES' wins are from NA and EU, one from LPL which is BLG but it's not a big deal since BLG is not really playing good too so it's expected that T1 will stomp this team.

What I really like more is the AL vs T1 since AL is the only LPL team I recognized that almost beat T1's streak in defeating LPL teams. Anw, I'm excited with the telecom wars, any team I'm happy with the result since both deserve it!

Yeah that was his worst placement if his team gets into Worlds but iirc he had few bad season not qualifying Worlds as well so yeah I guess its make it or break it for this guy and there is nothing in between


Its gonna be one hell of finals but if T1 win then they are gonna win 3 Worlds in a row so thats gonna set another record for them especially Faker. I was actually quite worried that T1 lost twice in round robin stage, Worlds would never be the same without faker on the playoffs

Donk is such a sick player but he just doesn't win... I can only think of NiKo playing like a star player everywhere he goes, playing with other star players, and he just can't win a major.

Somehow having a beast aim isn't enough to win every single time, some teams just have that one player that does the game changing support plays or clutch at the time where is all matters.

This really shows that you need a team around this great talent. I understand that when they put him in the team, they thought he would carry every match, but it doesn't work that way. He has talent, he has aim, but it's a team game that needs to be played that way. They're letting Donk play as if he's going to win every round single-handedly.

Did they actually change it ? or it was just a stand-in ? because Senzu is literally their best player by far and I'm sure some top tier teams already have an eye on him so it will be nice to see how his situation will develop.

Meanwhile , vitality won against Mouz 2-1 and now it seems Furia is about to win against Falcons 2-0 series...which is insane!

I heard the panel say he's only a stand-in, but i'm starting to think that he'll be playing for more than this event unless Senzu already had enough time to recharge after going through a burnout.

Also, FURIA sealed the upset with that 2-0 win against Falcons, and I thought it should've been the opposite after that flawless run throughout the group stage. 

It sucks that the schedule between their grand final and the Worlds' final will overlap, but i'll still try to watch them both at the same time.

Their squad is like the new gatekeeper of the SEA qualifiers, but they definitely need to keep improving when the other SEA teams are within touching distance of stealing that top spot.

On top of that, the Blast Slam IV finals have already finished with Tundra pulling off the 1-2 comeback against Team Falcons, and those last two maps coincidentally had the same drafts and ended with the same outcome. They've now won this tournament three times in a row, and the individual play from the side of Tundra was just better.
