Spain proved throughout the entire match that they were the team that deserved to win the World Cup. Argentina seemed to be there just to fend off their attacks. In fact, I think it was very difficult for them to hold out for even 90 minutes, but somehow they managed to take the game into extra time. If they had held on just a little longer and forced a penalty shootout, Argentina might have won the cup, but it didn’t happen.

Spain was truly well-prepared for this World Cup. The fact that they conceded only one goal from Belgium through the entire tournament proves it.

If Argentina had equalized the score and won the World Cup on penalties, it would have been the most unfairly won World Cup in history. They didn't have a single shot on target for 90 minutes, so they don't deserve the title at all. Congratulations to Spain, who did it in style. They really should have won this match by at least 3-0!

But its kinda harsh to say that Argentina does not  deserve a title just because of those penalties and their 90 minutes struggle. Football is not about which team dominates in early game, but rather its all about which of them survive on tough moments until the end of the game.

If it really happen that Argentina take the lead or advantage thru penalties, maybe there are people will question it. The truth is that England would have been a better finalist than Argentina, England had the sort of midfield that will match up against that of Spain, Argentina lost the midfield to Spain, and they got severely punished, with Bellingham, Rice and Anderson, It will be a hard pass for Spain, I can weigh both strength and the final will be more interesting.

I don't think yesterday final was a lucky break for unai simon, But statistically, spain was very difficult to beat and didn't concede many goals. Unai simon Performed brilliantly, supported by a Strong defense, making him worthy of the golden glove.

I did not know why majority of the world's population actually wanted Spain to win. I was asking why it was so, why it seems that Argentina started accumulating hatred for themselves. I thought that it was because of Messi, but later dismissed the idea.

But Argentina refusing to celebrate Spain, backed them, made troubles and behaved as if the world cup was designed for them made me know why people started hating them.
