Don't take women for more idiots than they are. They are not only interested in cosmetics and clothes (even if it could attract them). What I'm trying to say is that they can perfectly understand the technology behind it and the fact it has revolutionnary aspects. I'm quite addicted to bitcoin, I find it fascinating. I guess women could do and feel the same.

From my personal experience : I tried to explain my girlfriend what bitcoins allows me to do. I explained her I'm able to pay anyone in the world, in a few minutes, almost without fees, without banking system and without delay. That's an incredible fact and she was quite "impressed" even if she still thinks it's a "geek" thing. At least she understand part of what bitcoin "could be".

I try to take exemples : "Bitcoin is to the banking system what Airbnb is to the Hotels & tourism" ; "Bitcoin is like an e-mail you can send to anybody, banking system works more like a traditionnal postal system"

(I don't think the blockchain and its applications are that much fascinating when you want to attract people into bitcoin even if you could say a lot about it...)

I also helped her install a wallet on her computer and sent her a few satoshis :-D

The only way to get women interested in Bitcoin is to get some discount maybe now many girl like to use bitcoin because amazon now give some discount if you shopping use bitcoin.

Probably the smartest thing you can do is to not make it "about" women, but rather, make it about placing Bitcoin terminals where women normally shop and also encouraging more businesses to pay part or all of their employees' salary in Bitcoin. I suppose it would come as a surprise to no one that women make the majority of household purchases, so if we place Bitcoin in prominent places at venues where they might, say, buy a new pressure cooker, maybe they'll at least ask what the heck Bitcoin is and how can they get some.

Really like your comments lol, women is women, they need first gifts free of costs and whenever they need anything they can tell their boyfriends, husbands or brothers they have to give them whatever they want. but when women know the value of bitcoins they will earn more then the men because most of the time they stay at home and can use the laptop for bitcoins purpose very well.

Actually thinking about gold, I realized that if a woman wanted to receive gold as payment for work being done, she could do so, but with Bitcoins she could probably hold it and later exchange it for gold when the price of Bitcoins exceeds the percentage than that of gold.

In my my view bitcoin and gold are same. More over bitcoin is better than gold in all means. Hopefully women also will understand this and will start loving bitcoin more than they are currently doing to gold.

i think if you give money to women or do something like that you should give them bitcoins instead of the physical money i guess thats the way most probably

Women uses technology if it's secure, easy and massive, this happens before with credit cards. They are a lot more rational about new things, and if it looks difficult, illegal or unstable they don't buy it.

Sadly Bitcoin is still difficult for the average of population, it has a bad reputation.

Although you can motivate them by telling the benefit of the Bitcoin as it is a future e-currency. You can show them how the exchange takes place from bitcoin to real currency.

i don't see why it should be any difference between motivating women and motivating men to use bitcoin! i think it takes pretty much same effort to introduce bitcoin to anybody and motivate them to use it.

they need to see the benefits of using bitcoin either as a currency to use daily or even as an investment to buy and hold to make a profit in a year or two.

Motivation men and women is the same, the core and make sure they are interested in bitcoin.
But how to get people interested in it is different, for example: men interested in collecting bitcoin quickly then tunjukka how to transform and gather bitcoin fast, unlike the women he was attracted by the online shop and show that with bitcoin we can purchase them online easily.
Maybe it was simple and easy way to encourage people, especially women to use bitcoin.
