I think that women are often more practical than man and if they don't see results right away, they don't trust in something new, revolutionary etc.
It's the same with my wife. When I start to talk about bitcoin she listen but don't understand much.
Her only question is how much you earn with it or what you can do now with your bitcoin funds?
When I answer that bitcoin is not yet mainstream and that we can't use bitcoin with many merchants, only a few, she loose interest in it.
Bitcoin price and small profit or lost i made with it, also don't impress her to much.

Well marketing is an option to achieve that. But the bigger picture is to get as many of online shops into bitcoin. Having them accept bitcoin and a badget with bitcoin accepted will do the trick. I am sure more woman will be aware of it then.

Women (in general) are more responsive to what they see other people respect and use. Getting actors and celebrities tweet about Bitcoin would be a shortcut. Also if you want to convince them in person, the energy is better spent on trying to be an attractive and respectable person in general than to explain the actual logic of Bitcoin. Just saying that Bitcoin is the future and to sound sure and confident about it is better than to try to convince with logic.

Then also I don't think that they will be motivated as they can buy anything using fiat or credit card, we need a strong reason to motivate them, as of now I think they will continue with fiat or credit cards.

Also, I'm sure a lot of women that are using bitcoin, are NOT using this forum.
