NBA management probably wants stricter rules and heavier fines but they still do not want to miss out on revenues from ticket sales, ads and paid views. NBPA would oppose higher fines because most of the popular/influential players does it too.

Stephen Curry has joined crypto exchange FTX as brand ambassador and as an investor together with NFL legend Tom Brady and his wife Gisele Bundchen.



Just a day ago, Steph took to Twitter and revealed that he was getting started in the cryptic world of crypto exchange.

And now, he has dropped a major announcement that he’s on the table with Antigua-based crypto trading firm FTX. He opened up with this update in style and stated, “I’m thrilled to be announcing my partnering with FTX. They wanted to have their team put together an announcement video. But I told them no worries, I got this… FTX is dope.”

So now the GSW leader owns equity shares and is sharing the table with NFL’s Tom Brady, his wife and model Gisele Bundchen, eSports organization TSM, Shark Tank’s Kevin O’Leary, Quarterback Trevor Lawrence, and others.

Getting Curry to be an ambassador of the project requires enough money, I think they are really serious because they want to be popular in the crypto space by partnering with the popular personality in sports. They are moving in the right direction, I would say, at least they tried their best with an aggressive form of marketing.

What is that game? is that a preseason game? because I believe the regular season will start in December, it must be a preseason game, if it is, I don't think the Lakers will let their star players play, I'm sure they'll save it in the regular season.

They are finding a team that will fit Simmons in the last months so its obvious that this is a lie. I also heard on an interview with Coach Choke Rivers and he is saying positive things about Ben but deep inside, he really is disappointed with his performance.

The question is who will Cavaliers give for Simmons. They don't have that good players IIRC. Maybe Sexton might do plus a bunch of average players for Simmons or add another bench player.
Ben will not go back in Philly. Simmons don't like them and the fans and the management doesn't want him either. Now I'm thinking on how he will play when he is playing into another team already and they are in Philly. The fans might "boo" him and add some words that can hurt his morale and reputation.

He shouldn't if he wants to save face even if that means he won't land on any team next season. I think it's too late for any reconciliation between him and the management. The locker room would likely become a mess if he still decides to play for Sixers.

I'm also surprised that the management is also dragging this drama too long. They are not going to get the best or max deals for a player that couldn't shoot.

We cannot tell for sure but they probably passed on a lot of decent deals just to get the max offer. It will become a lose-lose for them if they prolong this ordeal. I think Ben's trade value will continue diminish as they approach the deadline.

They sure have a plan before the deadline, they are just looking for the best trades for now, and only if they find one will they will release Ben.

I think Ben Simmons is one of the best players in the NBA despite having bad performance in the last playoffs, but that was the only time where he struggle, prior to that, he was really contributing and especially in the regular season, so I believe the problem was the implementation of the game plan that time, it's not him as the coach knows his strength and weaknesses.

Yes it's obvious that they are still looking but it seems nobody wanted him bad enough to meet what the Sixers management are asking. Other teams must be thinking they will have no other choice but to lower their demand in exchange of Ben. He's not the type of player that can carry a whole team after all.
