    When I read Offline games I instantly imagined old poker player in a session of D&D with his buddies. I simply find that eventuality hard do believe in most cases.
    Hear me out: no board games or other hobbies gonna cut it - unless they will create similar or stronger endorphin rush than gambling can offer you.

    what a way to tell, i can suggest it become busy with work and family and friends , because if family and friends give support 90% of them can get rid of this gambling addiction.

    Gambling addiction is similar to drug addiction there, there is no chance to give up easily there when have no vision into our mind and which is most important thing in our life so that i think it is very long process to make prepare ourself to give up gambling.

    It is not easy to get rid of gambling this easy.Only true will can help someone to stay away.Only method is to avoid visiting gambling related sites because one simple can not quit using internet.Otherwise you will come back after few days break.You to convince and make sure to yourself that this is bad and disastrous thing and must stay away of this.

    The fact is, we can easily give advices maybe because we are not on his/her position. There are times that we can really do by ourselves but they can't

    If you are in a rush to make yourself away from gambling,  you can't decide the best thing to do but all I can say is start little by little and the time comes and you will notice that you have already stopped from gambling, just keep in your mind to stop it.

    Yup! little by little it may work, if you aren't really addicted to gambling then there is a possible solution for this matter to stop it all by yourself you can stop in your addiction with gambling.

    okay then what is your specific suggestion about a way to stay away from gambling?
    just saying try it slowly wouldn't solve anything , i would tell everyone to spend your most time with someone you love like a girlfriend , family etc by have a happy times you might forget to gamble.
    I'm in 400,000 euros debt , dont help me , i rather die

    Well sure it is easy to talk but remember most of the things we say here are known too by the gamblers. In such cases
    they just need to hear it from another person for some confirmation.

    It is not that easy to stay away from gambling because gambling let many people think that you can earn a lot of money with it and people are now also these days greedy.
    So that is already bad but they will only stay away from gambling if they are realizing it by themselves.

    That is a good idea of blocking some particular sites which you feel you are addicted to. But investing is another kind of gambling with low risk, basically investments hardly ever pay you more than what you invested, unless they are legit investments.

    It is hard to stay away from gambling and especially if you are addicted to it, you have to know that you can be poor because of gambling and to realize that it is bad to do.
    We just can give you only some tips but you have to do it all by yourself.

    Yea it's hard to stop gambling when someone is addicted, but we can stop playing only games based on luck and play games which involves skills one might end up in profit.

    haha, that is not going to work because a block is never going to stop an addict from accessing the site unless they ask someone else to do the blocking for them.

    because even if you block the site for example by adding it to your Anti virus or firewall you can always remove the restriction with 1 click and even password protecting the AV is not going to work because you will know the password.

    Staying away from gambling is in my eyes not so difficult because the fact is that gambling is just a way of enjoying yourself.
    If you can find another hobby you will most likely stop in a no time.

    Yeah I always go back to gambling somehow if I see a soccer match and there I was not gambling. The match was not cool and not stressful. feels something is missing so I'm always a gamble when there is a soccer game. I don't know if this is addicted or not. but I'm always a gamble in soccer
