I just hope they lower the minimum bet to 0.2$ instead of 0.5$. The prize pool is 10,000$ per day for top 10 players. This challenge is so good for everyone if they just lower the minimum bet.

They have many promotions especially for slot, starting from those with lower min bet $0.1 up to this one with $0.5.
I believe there is a reason why some promo has higher min bet compared to the others, so if this one is too big for you then simply join the one with lower min bet.
Even they decide to lower this one, small players wont be able to compete with those players with higher bankroll because the type of this promo can be simplified as "the more you play = the higher points you get = higher chance to be on top 10".
Although it is about sum of multiplier, even if we can get high multiplier such as 1000x-5000x with less spins, higher bankroll players may overlap us easily by making thousands spins.

100k freeroll and 7000 seats filled within minutes?? Is it a bot attack or what? It is unheard for any poker tournament (believe me I have heard a lot lol). What is the point if you can not even register. I think Stake should look into this. Is any one from here managed to register in the tournament?
Even if seats are occupied by real players, I think Stake should consider raising the number of seats to at least 15000, I am sure there poker handle can bear it comfortably.

Network is very bad from my end therefore I could not access the link you provided. But coming to the second paragraph of your comment, it will be good for them to reduce the price for more participants. I don't know that such promotion is active here. Though I only play once a while in stake since I am not a gambling addict. I am not a regular player but I play gamble. The amount you mentioned is not too bad and if they understand this comments and reduce the amount, many will join them from here too.

I waited about 15 minutes for this tournament but somehow I can't register and I see error message which I suspect is a surge of participants joining at the same time. At first I thought the problem was on my side but it turns out you also have problems when registering so I agree with you Stake teams needs to pay attention to this. I saw the new tournament schedule on December 14 with the same title $100k it seems this is my last chance to try it.

I think it wasn't a bot attack, but that the Stake servers weren’t prepared for such a sudden influx of users. That’s why many people couldn’t load the page and kept getting errors. Personally, I tried to register for this tournament from the very first second, and I finally succeeded, but only after repeatedly refreshing the page due to errors. It's noteworthy that within 3-4 minutes of registration opening, more than 5700 spots had already been taken.

You (Stake) should have been properly prepare for an event like this. I mean, what else you could be accepting where the total prizepool is $100k+. I have seen many times when a server is crashed on poker platforms (not talking about Stake) due to sudden influx, it only creates negative impression.

It is good that your persistent effort paid off. BTW, seats are filled much faster than 3 minutes, and all I was getting was error. Have you managed to win anything?
I will be setting an alarm of 30 seconds before the next tournament and will do constant refreshes as I am sure it will be the same scenario again if seats are not increased.

You need level 2 compulsory KYC in order to be a participant. Thousands of seats filling under few minutes (all KYC) is maybe just a tiny glimpse of the massive level in which stake is operating in the industry.
