Yes, the site was down for a few minutes because of server updates but everything was immediately back on. Poker was working the entire time however.

WPN Tournament Connectivity Improvement Expected 9 Days

There will be scheduled WPN poker tournament maintenance and improvement beginning today October 31, 2015 and ending November 9, 2015

In our consistent effort to improve the connectivity and services provided by Betcoin, the WPN will be providing extended maintenance to it's flagship bitcoin only service provider for 9 days from October 31, 2015 to November 9, 2015.

We certainly apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and we are here anytime to answer any questions. This update should solve all DDoS and connectivity problems experienced by the WPN as well as enable Betcoin to accept the new features of the WPN.

is this just tournaments, or all connectivity? (i.e. ring games)

Is WPN going down, or just the Betcoin skin?

Will this affect WPN players who play on skins other than Betcoin?

Was betcoin part of the reason for WPN getting dos?

Good questions TwitchySeal. Just Betcoin for connectivity upgrades. As you know Betcoin is unique in that it shares tournament liquidity. It will not effect other players. The connection to the tournaments needed to be strengthened permanently and this is what has caused the delay. Plus in order to add in more features, this upgrade was mandatory.

I see that lately there hasn't been any on demand Freerolls and many other tournaments are missing. What's the matter? I see you had a some maintenance, could it be the problem?

We are improving the connectivity with the WPN tournaments at this time and hope to have the integration back next week. We will keep you posted.
