He is not a full-blooded Filipino but he wants to represent the Philippines in the NBA, maybe he can get a lot of fans if he will play like JC or even better. As of now, there's still no full-blooded Filipino player in the NBA, but hopefully, we will see one soon, and I'm optimistic as the basketball players in the big league in the Philippines are improving.

Are they afraid they won't get the trade that they want and will end up with bench players on their roster? It's like a 2 face deal. They don't want to let Simmons go for a bunch of bench players but they are ready to give him for a possible shooter.
I don't like that kind of strategy and this could be the reason why Simmons has cut off communications with them. Now it's Blazers at the rumors for C.J. McCollum. The problem, Ben doesn't want to be a Trail Blazer. He prefers teams in California.

Wiggins is a good player on a bad team but a liability on a good team.  The salary is good to take on from a team who can't bring in good free agents and needs to fill seats in the arena.  Shame the kid was highly regarded coming out of highschool.  Hopefully he can transform his game otherwise he will flame put as just another inefficient scorer in the league.  There are tons of those guys already.

The problem is that Wiggins salary is about 30 million a year, and other teams do not really like to pay him that much money, why would anyone pay 30 million dollars for wiggins? Which means that warriors needs to give a lot more and get very little to send Wiggins. Sixers? Why would they get Wiggins? That is not really a good thing at all for them, Wiggins would not help them at all and they need a lot more than Wiggins for this trade to make sense.

Most teams closed the door for Simmons because Sixers asked for a lot, like literally nearly a star level player, for example Wizards were asked for Beal, do you really think that Wizards would be willing to send Beal for Simmons? Wiggins basically is what half of Beal is, Sixers will not accept that at all. At the end of the day we should be looking into Simmons possibly staying at Sixers because Sixers couldn't find a trade.

Of course, the Wizards wouldn't agree to this trade, and I guess it's pointless to compare the skills of these two players. However, it's funny that Beal and Simmons have almost the same salary per season. Anyway, I doubt that the 76ers will keep him, considering that he ignores them.

I tried to read some at the comment section of this tweet and a lot of people are mad about different tamperings that were unchecked by NBA management.
Few examples are player-to-player meetings.
But why this Lonzo and Lowry trade was being dug.
Is it for the 10 million fine or they are just trying to remind every team to follow the right method with trades?

Howard and Melo are not performing well lately, but I believe that only them playing together with AD, LeBron and Westbrook, and created this excellent team, will give them confidence and consequently they can play inspired

The National Basket Association has opened an investigation to evaluate the possible violation of the so-called anti tampering rules during free agency. According to ESPN sources, the league's offices are looking into the sign and trade that brought Lonzo Ball to the Chicago Bulls and Kyle Lowry to the Miami Heat.
Sanctions against tampering were tightened only two years ago. In case of proven irregularity, fines up to 10M dollars are foreseen for the team, with possible charges against the guilty managers, possible subtraction of draft picks and invalidation of contracts.

Melo's game has someone go down in the last 3 years and I would say that he is already past his prime. But he can still hit those outside shots that's why he was given a second chance by the Lakers base on his performance with the Blazers.

For Howard, he already lost his spot as the center position and has been playing on different teams. If he will be the starting center for the Lakers, then maybe he can increased his ppg and rebounds and that will be big enough contribution coming from him. And we have seen how he blend with the Lebron type of game, so again, he might have a good output as a Laker.
