It surprises me that they trade two veterans for Eric Bledsoe, I guess they value Eric more than Rondo and Bev. Grizzlies already has Ja Morant so I don't know how both Rajon and Pat can fit in their rotation. Although Bledsoe was just a returning Clipper, maybe he can fill the point guard position that will be left by the two veteran. Yeah, for me what he done to Booker was intentional. Anyhow, let's hear more trade, I'm sure everyone is waiting for the Ben Simmons drama.

That's how I see it too. All players that included from that trade are all veterans seems that Rondo didn't get his chance to fill the PG position with Clippers,

 unlike with those teams that he played with. Not enough or he's not fit for the system the coach have for the team that's why he's been traded after being

acquired out from Atlanta,

Not sure how Grizzle's will give him enough time since Morant still on his prime and he can play longer the way he's playing right now.

Memphis is loaded with guards so provably they will just trade those guys in exchange with more good talents, But actually they can use Rondo as their back up point guard if they can utilize his talent for sure they can give them a good plays, but we don't know what's the real plan by Memphis so let see how those two guys journey on their new team.

Also many are now curious to know about which team can successfully acquired and its interesting to know if he will go on strong teams or on average team only.

I would say he is a dirty player, that's it, he is one of the big reasons why the Clippers were a bit successful during the playoffs despite the injury, but I'm sure the management is not happy with his attitude at some moment in the playoffs, particularly when the pushed CP3 after they got defeated.

Hopefully he will change and he will be a vital for the young team.

Sometimes I don't understand, how a player like him 7-2 (218cm) tall, hasn't had a brilliant career in the NBA... not to mention unfortunately he retired from basketball too early.

A player who retired (in 2021) that I really didn't understand was the center Lucas Bebe (Toronto Raptors), 28 years old at 7-1 (213cm) tall. He said he wasn't happy playing basketball and returned to Brazil looking for new challenges! Several people, players, were shocked by his decision.

Sure, even though Melo is LeBron's friend off the court, I think this is another reason to Melo plays well in the Lakers, because he will be playing with his great longtime friend!

Basketball isn't just a height thing otherwise all 7 footers would be awesome.  Athleticism is a huge part of playing basketball.  And for most people that tall, their shooting mechanics are all wrong from anywhere out from 5 feet from the bucket.  Limbs are too long for smooth mechanics.  And besides most are goofy and can't move laterally quick enough to last.

So, this is a very important variable. The "x" factor that caught several teams off guard this NBA season (2020/2021) was injuries, there were a lot of injuries, even I was worried about that.
I confess that if they don't have a lot of injuries this season, the Lakers and Nets will have a great chance of making it to the NBA Finals this season (of course anything can happen), but I believe these teams have a lot of potential for that to happen.

Look, I believe this is a compilation of factors that can make a difference. In my opinion, height is indeed an important factor, but for a person to be an excellent player, he needs to have skill, be a good shooter, be a good movimentation and be a good defender (which in my humble opinion this last characteristic is a of the most important).

For example, over the years we've seen a number of HS and college basketball players who are tall and who are occupying SG and PG positions.
