Close game so far. Pacers up by 3 at half. We saw some though defense from both teams.
Thunder is only 1/10 behind the 3-pt line but the point difference is still too narrow. If Thunder fix their 3-pt percentage they might win the game. Haliburton needs to step up for Pacers.
The run made by the Thunder at the final minutes of the game lead by SGA put them to win and tie the series. 111-104.
Despite shooting only 3/17 from threes, they manage to steal one on the road. The team made some adjustments on how the Pacers are defending SGA hence they're making screens from here and there and because of that, he got the pace that he wants and scored 35 points. Williams also scored 27 points while Caruso scored 20 off the bench.
As for the Pacers, I would not say that Hali had a bad performance because they can still have a chance to win that game if only Mathurin didn't commit those 2 crucial away-from-ball fouls while the Thunder is inbounding the ball and that gave them 2 crucial points to them. Also aside from those 2 crucial fouls that he made, he also missed too many free throws in the final seconds of the game. I mean I don't want to blame him, but it might be different if he didn't commit those mistakes. Missed free throws, and away-from-ball fouls.
Anyway, it's a best of 3 now, and the momentum is now on the Thunder because of this win. I don't want to say now though that it would be an easy win for them even though 2 of the next 3 games will be played on their home because Indiana isn't backing down, and we've saw it in those 4 games. Congratulations to Thunder still, and to those who put their bets on them.
