Well you can look it that way, but still though, KAT could be a better compliment to ANT. I mean they just decided to stick with Naz Reid and obviously, he didn't have that kind of impact on the team if the management didn't trade him. So if they didn't trade KAT it could have been a different Wolves.
I don't think that Josh Giddey will be a good addition to the team. They already have Donte DiVincenzo, almost the same position with Giddey. Perhaps what they needed is a good point guard that can distribute the ball as Mike Conley is really getting old and there are games against the Thunder in their series wherein he didn't score and just had 1 assist in the game.
Well, it's a matter of "Do we want to be in the 2nd apron next season?" or "We run the same team once again and the our ceiling would just be Conference Finals". I would agree with what you said that KAT would better if he stayed with the Wolves, but the management chooses to stay away from the 2nd apron because of the possible consequences that they will face. It would be different Wolves yes, but it will be the same Wolves 2 seasons ago where they lost in the Conference Finals.

As for Donte DiVincenzo, just for context, he's labeled as a "Shooting Guard" on the ESPN website and it's pretty obvious that he's a shoot first guy if you will look at his APG this season which is only 3.6 so he's not fit to be a PG. Mike Conley is a solid PG, but he's on his post-prime years already, and only plays for 24 minutes per game. It's your opinion though but for me, they need a more reliable PG right now. Look at their roster and you will see that the only PG on the team is Conley and Bones Hyland. You said that they need a PG that can distribute the same ball as Conley, and for me, Josh Giddey is a perfect fit for it.
Just for context, last regular season he averaged 7.2 APG. I will ask you then. If there's any change that you want to happen on the Wolves, what would it be? You said that they need a PG as well so which players are you thinking that will be a good fit for them then?

I believe it is quite worth betting on Pacers. I respect people who bet on their championship earlier already because the odds were like 6.00 or so as far as I remember. I'm still rooting for Thunder but let's see whether the underdog surprises us...
If you're thinking of betting on the Pacers, I'll throw this one here:
The team with a home-court advantage has about 79% chance of winning the title and historically, Finals teams with home-court to begin with wins the series 73% of the time.
In the whole NBA History, there has been 19 Game 7 NBA Finals already, and in those 19 games, 15 of them won by the home team.

Numbers don't lie, and I'm not saying that the Pacers doesn't have a chance though. I just threw some numbers so you can decide even better if you want to bet on the Pacers.

I say that they needed a point guard because if you look at their losses, specially in closing minutes, there are no one that can orchestrate their offense. I'm haven't check if there is a good point guard that is available.
But I think it should be the typical definition of a guard as they have a lot that can shoot from the outside, even Randle is shooting at 3's and ANT as well. Someone that can really get the out of the bad situation and not that ANT will do everything. Donte doesn't fit to be a point guard, just my opinion. That's why the trade is really bad for them as they didn't get the output they want in exchange of a good player. KAT should have thrive in their system for this season.
