And probably this is why this finals is still intriguing to begin with. Both are high scoring, they love to shot outside, they have both franchise players that I think very hard to guard in Hali and then SGA.
Both are hungry and young team as well. That's why I said that even if OKC might have the advantage, I'm still hearing noises outside that there could be some surprises that the Pacers might do in this series. So don't count Pacers out yet, I would say and see how they are going to play in game 1 at OKC's homecourt.
Im seeing this as a long series. SGA will still be SGA, unstoppable, just like Mitchell and Brunson were, but the Pacers can still find a way to win.
What really matters is that Haliburton continues to be the teams main facilitator. His unselfishness has been a key reason for their success. Itll be interesting to see if anyone can slow him down, maybe Caruso or Dort will be assigned to guard him.
As for the bigs, I dont think OKC will run a twin tower setup, since the Pacers big men can shoot from outside. Its the same approach they used against Denver, even with Jokic being a great shooter. But this matchup is different. Every player on the Pacers can score, and what makes them dangerous is their confidence, they dont hesitate when they get an open shot.
