It was not easy though as you have said, it was very close in the first half. The Wolves was hot specially Julius Randle hitting those outside 3's. But in the 3rd quarter, there are a lot of shift in the momentum, as the OKC played great defense on Randle and it was just late in the 3rd quarter when he scored. But that time, OKC is already going into 2 digits lead. And it was the defense again of Caruso he put on Randle and the whole team was really working like a well oiled machine, each one picking it's intensity to drive and then hit outside shot. I'm not sure how the Wolves are going to adjust, ANT needs to come up big here and be consistent, not just in the first half alone.
Thats exactly what OKC did, they went on a solid run, and their opponents just couldnt answer back. They made huge adjustments in the second half, stepped up on defense, and got their shots falling which resulted to a dominant win.
But what I love about this series is that the Wolves arent going down easy.
Im expecting a tight Game 2 and honestly, I wouldnt be surprised if the Wolves bounce back and take it.
